Pinares del Carrizalito

I rarely write reviews, unless something is extraordinary. In this case, the couple that owns this hotel, which is more like a bed-and-breakfast, Alberto and Anita, have to be lauded for how wonderful they run this hotel. We only stayed there three nights, but it felt like family. Anita fuxed the best breakfasts and dinners that I’ve had in quite some time, and Alberto was so full of information, and so helpful in so many ways, that he went above what a normal hotel would provide. For example, my wife had a cough which was noticeable to Anita. Anita then prepared my wife with a home remedy that basically cured her cough. She also got up at 4 AM to make us sandwiches before we trekked to Laguna Grande. The views are spectacular, the accommodations are fine, but it is certainly the hospitality provided by Alberto and Anita that makes this hotel special.
