Located outside the citycenter. Off course that is what you can see online before you decide to make a reservation. What you can't see (regularly) is that it's located uphill. So if you consider to book here keep in mind that the last km, when walking back from the city center, is going up. Your other option would be a taxi. But if you stay for a couple of days and everything you want to do is by taxi, that will not add to your hapiness. To give you an idea; we walked 12km every day, excluding any planned activities. Enough about the location. What about the hotel itself? The room is spacious, the bathroom is not. The bed and the bedsheets are really great, one of the best we saw in Argentina. The bathroom is cramped, and showering is in the bathtub. Toiletpaper is nice and firm (be honest with me, that is a plus:-)). There are some minor things in the room that could be improved. The shower provides hot water, but water pressure is quite low. There is a tv in the room, but it comes with only a few channels you will not watch. For us a tv is not needed, but if you decide to provide one, make sure people can benefit from it. Why else would you hang one? The room does not have blinding curtains, so during summer it starts to get light at around 05.30h. There is a small trahs can in the bathroom but you will not find one in de room itself. Isolation is pretty poor, you can clearly hear your neighbors. They have a system for serving breakfast. Online you can fill out a form to point out what you would like for breakfast. Basically that's a good idea for meeting every ones preferences. The point where it goes wrong is that you will not get all the things you 'order'. So what's the use of filling out a form. And worth to mention, the coffee and croissants are dissapointing, they really are. And you won't get a refill on your drinks. One other thing worth mentioning is that the owner wants you to hand in the room key when you go out. For us that was a bit strange. And to conclude with; they charge you the same rate as *********** when booking directly with them. That can't be guest friendly and does no seem to be the smartest way of doing business.
