Arrived late at the airport and couldn't catch the bus so I took a taxi. It was a better hotel than I thought. I took the bus to the airport. (Convenient)
There was no water inside so I had to buy it from the vending machine.
However, the owner gave me a bottle of water.

The service, the reception and the hotel are very good and modern, but then the rooms are quite old, the doors, the furniture, etc.
The shampoo in the shower falls and drips all day long. I think we had the only room that didn't have a window in the shower because it was covered in paper. There were insects and a kind of rather large butterfly on the papers they put up with activities to do. The cleaning ladies cleaned our room every morning and didn't give us towels and I had to go to reception to complain every morning. The breakfast food was quite good and there was variety and the attention and service they gave us was great too. The area is bad because it's the Arenal, but within reason it's quite far from the nightclub area so that street is quite quiet during the day and at night.
