The staff (except for 1 person) is very polite and friendly. The room is good＞ coffee/tea air conditioning good e mattress, sufficient pillows. Unfortunately no comfortable chair, apart from placement of TV, you can actually only see it from bed. Shower pressure ok, also nice rain shower. NOTE: shower floor is slippery. Suggestion: place at least 1x handle!!! No safe, but laundry service. Unfortunately no elevator. Breakfast was "good". If you waive interim cleaning of the room, you get a voucher of €5,-- to spend in the restaurant. Great initiative! One more comment: edge of light bar above the bed had a thick layer of dust. In addition, clean the walking space in front of the windows on the 1st floor (so outside): lots of paper and such. Looks so much better when you look outside!

what a nice hotel, perfect location for a weekend in Eindhoven. It is very quiet, nice rooms and good bed. If you are looking for a point of criticism, it is the dated bathroom, but it is neat and clean. At the reception we were welcomed nicely, no elevator in the hotel but they immediately offered to bring the suitcase upstairs. In the room a welcome card with our own name on it, very thoughtful. I can definitely recommend this hotel, good price-quality ratio. + +

Without active reminder I booked this hotel last year via hotel deals. The confirmation of this probably ended up in my spam box at the time. Now you would expect from a good hotel that you would receive some emails from the hotel itself shortly beforehand that you are expected with check-in time and check-out etc. However, I never received these emails. Suddenly on a Saturday morning I suddenly received an email about a no show, yes this email did arrive. I also received a phone call as a follow-up to this email. Over the phone I was kindly explained that I had booked for 2 nights and that I had just missed the 1st night. The 2nd night that was yet to come could also no longer be cancelled. Unfortunately I had to pay a bill of 498 euros. Fortunately I could still be reassured, because I did not have to pay tourist tax. I looked in my mailbox to see if I had received any emails somewhere that I was being waited for. After all, the no show email does come in. But these cannot be found. If I had received these emails, I would have been able to cancel the hotel on time. Not entirely my fault I thought. I have contacted the front office manager a few times. She has also called me a few times, I think more to make herself feel better that she really can't do anything about it, than to make me pay those 498 euros. They could not look into why those automatic emails did not arrive. I have just transferred the money. I hope this will be used to improve their software regarding emails.

The hotel is quietly situated, on the edge of a park. About 15 minutes walking distance along the Dommel from the centre of Eindhoven. Free parking at the hotel itself and the adjacent streets, although it can sometimes take some searching. The reception was friendly. There is no lift. We had a Deluxe room, situated at the back. The room itself was spacious and clean, but soberly furnished and rather outdated. There was TV, air conditioning, and free WiFi, no fridge or minibar. Good bed. Bathrobe and slippers available. The bathroom was small, with a very cramped shower. Shower gel and shampoo available in bottles hanging on the wall - the shower gel was empty, however. No further accessories; not even tissues. We had a very quiet night. The breakfast was not really extensive, but correct and tasty.

The Hotel Parkzicht in Eindhoven combines a quiet location near a park, very good service and a very good price. The city can be easily reached by bike; rental bikes are available.
