3eme visite à Rhino Post , le Lodge est vieillissant, trous dans les moustiquaires… Décevant au niveau des games drive, nous sommes restés sur les routes goudronnées en attendant des infos d’autre rangers. L’ambiance reste sympathique et simple. Le Park Kruger est un des plus beau parc que nous ayons visité en Afrique Australe

Uns hat es sehr gut dort gefallen. Die Lodge ist an einem Flussbett gelegen und verschiedene Tiere schauen dort vorbei, auch Elefanten. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und im typisch afrikanischen Stil eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht und noch mehr. Zum Fluss zeigt eine große Fensterfront mit Terrasse, von wo aus man auf das Flussbett schaut. Das gesamte Team ist super herzlich. Mit unserem Guide JD hatten wir super Game Drives mit großartigen Tiersichtungen. Von uns gibt es eine absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang an der Rezeption wartete bereits Mareyke (unser Guid) auf uns.Wir haben sie auf Anhieb in unser Herz geschlossen,ihre positive ,freundliche ,gewinnende Art ist wohltuend.Sie hat ein unermesslichen Fachwissen ,welches sie auf sehr angenehme Weise weitergibt.Was uns aber ganz tief berührt hat,ist ihr Umgang mit den Tieren.Mit ruhiger Stimme nimmt sie Kontakt auf mit ihnen ,sei es ein Elefant oder eine kleine Gazelle und wir konnten staunend beobachten wie die Tiere darauf reagierten .Unbeschreiblich schön! Mareyke hat unsere Bedürfnisse sofort erkannt (viel Zeit zum Fotografieren)und wurde diesen vollumfänglich gerecht.Danke! Das Zelt war sehr geräumig und sauber.Die grosse Glasfront gegen das Flussbett vermittelt das Gefühl mitten in der Natur zu sein.Wir hatten das Glück eine Elefantenherde direkt vor unserer Veranda beobachten zu können,sie waren so nah ,wir hätten sie berühren können. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich,frisch und unglaublich lecker. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.James war sehr charmant,Crystal sprühte vor Lebensfreude und hat uns noch vorgesungen.Ihre Stimme geht echt unter die Haut!Auch die Frauen beim Frühstückservice waren aufmerksam und gut gelaunt. Danke allen die uns den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt ermöglicht haben.Wir möchten wieder kommen.

I am sorry to buck the trend of all the other reviews and I have thought long and hard about writing this. My husband and I are experienced travellers in Africa having family here, and one of our daughters, who accompanied us, is a trained safari guide with FGASA level 3. The lodge is lovely - however at most other lodges there is a lunch option. The dinner tables are communal and on a family holiday we did not want to dine every night with other guests and our guide on a large table. Even when we requested private dining our guide hovered near us. There was no front of house or obvious lodge manager with whom we could voice our concerns or who came at any time to ask us at any time how our stay was. Our main problem was with the guiding staff. The chief guide was completely disengaged. Our allocated guide was not what one expects from a lodge of this price. Our guide 1. Continually fed the animals as we drove round - especially the baboons and monkeys which is not appropriate 2. Drove so fast one of our party could no longer go on the drives as they felt travel sick 3. Spent a significant amount of the time on the radio talking about sightings ( imagined) and not concentrating on his guests 4. His knowledge was very poor ( our daughter has trained as a guide to FGASA level 3) that he misidentified many birds and tracks - eg mistaking hyena tracks for leopard tracks.. I am afraid there are also many other points. Whilst we enjoyed our stay and cannot take away from the house staff who were fabulous there would appear to be some management lacking. If the hd been our only lodge stay it would not have been acceptable.

Una experiencia increíble! Vivir unos días dentro del parque en este lodge es algo que tenés que hacer, todo perfectamente organizado, los safaris, los detalles en cada uno, la atención de todos el equipo del hotel es de primera! Las cabañas perfectamente cuidadas, hacen que te sientas en un cuento!

We returned to Rhino Post after five years but sadly only two nights this time. Lovely rustic rooms but without air conditioning can be a bit stifling on a very very not day! Food very good with choice at dinner and nice wine list and friendly service. The game viewing in this concession remains excellent with elephants galore. The highlight was the impala cheetah kill. Our guide this time was James, very friendly and interactive and quick to judge the knowledge level of clients. Until the next time!

Die Lodge liegt im Krüger Nationalpark, man ist mitten drin im Geschehen. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Die Game Drives sind toll und man erhält viele Informationen über die Tiere und den Park. Alles ist sehr gut organisiert.
