I’m writing this review directly from Room 212, where I’ve had the unique pleasure of experiencing what can only be described as a budget hostel disguised as a luxury spa. The photos looked charming — spacious room, elegant bathroom — but reality hit hard. And by “hard,” I mean right in the knees… which immediately meet the radiator while you’re using the toilet. The bathroom is so small, it might qualify as a closet in some countries. Drying off without knocking over the sink or bumping into a wall? Good luck. You’ll need gymnastic skills and a compact skeleton. Now let’s talk about the room itself: the bed has a board that moves like it’s auditioning for a ******* house. The pillows are absurdly high — like sleeping on a rolled-up yoga mat. I woke up with my neck at a 45-degree angle and a fresh sense of regret. But the real highlight? The train that thunders by like you booked a suite on the tracks. Not only can you hear it, but you can also feel it — the bed and toilet both vibrate like you’re on some sad roller coaster to disappointment. If you enjoy claustrophobia, noise pollution, and shaky furniture, congratulations — this is your nirvana. Otherwise, consider this a cautionary tale.

Some places feel better than they look. Each one stirs something unique. For me, it’s the simplicity of the beach—the salty breeze, the uneven textures, the unpolished charm. Modern architecture often feels too clean, too uniform—missing that spark of character, history, or soul. But this old villa, carefully restored into a boutique retreat, has its own quiet presence. It doesn’t impose; it invites. Intimate. Distinct. A fine restaurant, live music, sweeping sea views, and the gentle rhythm of waves at night round out the experience. It’s family-friendly too, with a welcoming lobby featuring a small collection of Romanian literature, a cozy spa, and a warm indoor pool that’s perfect for kids. If you’re into movement, the coastline offers over 20 km of paved alleys—ideal for running. Just 1 km away, there’s a public spot with bars for calisthenics or a simple push-pull bodyweight session. There are many yoga retreats taking place during the summer as well.

Everything here is just an appearance. It looks very good, but the people and the way you are treated ruins the place. The woman from the reception is arrogant and she seems irrupted by any question and the restaurant is the worst experience in our life. We have never attended an etiquette restaurant where you are completely neglected, where there is only one waiter and that one is arrogant, nasty and completely neglects the customers. Moreover, at one table there was someone “famous” who had a paid partnership with Euphoria and who was intensely promoting the place on social media, BUT even that person very kindly asked the waiter to take care about the customers. He seemed to be ashamed that he associated his image with such an unprofessional place. The prices are too high for the quality, for the food and not to mention for the low standards, services and unpleasant atmosphere. Imagine that for 20 minutes the waiter did not come to us. Not even to bring us a meniu. I specify that there were only 5 tables occupied, 4 with couples, one with 5 persons. So, it was not busy! The table with 5 persons simply stood up and wanted to leave when the waiter started begging them not to leave. They weee there for 45 minutes and not even a bottle of water had not been brought by that waiter.
