Efate Hotels with Airport pickup service

We visited this resort for the day to see if this would suit us for our next holiday. The resort is in a perfect location about 20 mins bus ride from Port Vila. It is located on a beautiful beach with great snorkeling right off the beach. It is in a quieter rural location that would suit visitors looking for a beach getaway. We got to view one of the fares and it was a quaint island style room with ceiling fans and the one we viewed also had air conditioning. It would be perfect for us and I loved the charm of it. The restaurant was an open style area that had a lovely breeze going through even though it was a very hot sunny day, We ordered the fish burger for lunch and it was honestly the BEST fish burger I’ve ever had! It was absolutely delicious and compliments to their amazing chef! Rob the manager was very friendly and a pleasure to meet, we enjoyed his company when he had the chance to sit down and mingle with the guests. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our day relaxing, swimming and snorkeling at the resort and I can’t wait for our next Vanuatu holiday at this resort!

Overall we enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Breakas. We had an ocean view room which had a stunning view. The dinners poolside had a lovely ambience and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the seafood pizza, G.C.O prawns and seafood scoglio. It’s in a nice location, only a short ride by local bus to the main part of town. It is also walking distance to Three Pigs and Cafe Vila which also have delicious food. We loved the band singing on the beach Monday night but weren’t aware of it until returning from dinner out. We recommend a sheet detailing special performances and the like is given to guests upon check in. The included breakfast could do with some improvements by adding things like herbal teas and different juices. We also had a massage at the resort. Perhaps with some further training for staff this will improve but for now we would not recommend. Having stayed a previous 4 nights at Paradise Cove Resort we were a little disappointed in the service and friendliness of staff at the main desk. At times there was no one at reception and the bell to ring for service didn’t work. We know of other guests who also had the same impression. It really put a dampener on the overall vibe and we felt like we were being a burden when enquiring about the littlest of things.

A business hotel in the city center with a great location, with supermarkets, restaurants and shopping centers nearby. The facilities are average, but worth the price. One disadvantage is that it is located on the main road and is very noisy at night. Wa people go to bed very late at night, wake up very early in the morning and speak loudly. There is no possibility that they will noisy other people's consciousness. I heard someone talking loudly until 3 o'clock in the evening, and it was very noisy outside at 6 o'clock in the morning. It is not suitable for travelers who like to sleep quietly at night. There is also a poor hotel service. There is a guest reception room downstairs in the hotel for check-in and check-out matters. It says that there will be reception from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and call for service the rest of the time. As a result, I did not check in at 4 o'clock in the evening, there was no one in the reception room, the door was locked, and no one answered the service phone, so I could not contact Ctrip to solve it. The hotel called me until a quarter past five in the evening, saying that someone was there and I could check in. Checked out in the morning and asked the receptionist. She said that someone would start reception at 8 o'clock in the morning, but she didn't come to work until 8:30. I have also stayed in several hotels in Port Vila, and this one has the worst service.

Travellers Motel has created an oasis in central Port Vila for all types of travellers. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The gorgeous pool and its surrounding gardens create a place of rest and relaxation between your activities. The communal kitchen creates a space to quickly prepare your meals and to connect with others who are staying. I stayed here for two weeks and it quickly became a place I could call home, due in large part to the incredible team and beautiful environment.

We had a lovely time at Sunset Bungalows, everybody was so friendly and welcoming, a special shout out to Maria, who worked every day from cooking to reception from early in the morning to late at night, the cleaning lady and the night security man were also so lovely, he waited with us at 4.30am for our transport to arive to the airport. The rooms are nice, bed comfy and a beautiful outlook when you open the doors to the lagoon, with the water lapping up the front, the whole resort is looking a little tired, but after being hit with over 2 years of COVID and 2 cyclones this resort is still trying to recover, the only downside for us was the lack of choice in food, but was not really an issue we just got a bus into town and ate in there. The town is also still recovering a lot of places are still closed or have shut completely but all in all if you want a nice quiet place with great service and beatuiful people with clean comfortable rooms then you will not be disappointed with Sunset Bungalows.

Spent one month at Nasama resort and had a wonderful experience throughout, the friendly staff definitely helped make that happen. My room was spacious (really nice big bed), clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor area viewing over the pool and beach. I did have one small problem with my wardrobe door one day but Gigi from the maintenance team swiftly came over and sorted it for me with a big smile on his face. I was also lucky enough to come across a dugong whilst out for a swim in the sea right in front of the resort one day, it was absolutely incredible!! Chef Ronnie at Cafe Vila restaurant delivers exceptional dishes for breakfast and dinner whilst the restaurant itself offers a relaxed ambience and good service. Three Pigs restaurant provides great food at a reasonable price in a cool bar like atmosphere. They also makes really nice drinks!! I miss my stay at Nasama and hope to be able to visit sometime again in the future.

I stayed at Tropicana for 2 weeks with a friend and my two children ( 2 year old and a 7 month old). SERVICE - The staff are absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable right from the get go. I made a mistake and booked the wrong room (the smaller one) and they managed to get another bed into our room. The staff took our luggage and children up the stairs for us. They also would bring dinner to our room if our children were sleeping or didn't want to come down. I had great conversations with some of the staff and really got to know them. When our bus broke down, the manager called one of their own drivers for us. They were all so happy and friendly! Not a single complaint with the service. CLEANLINESS - Our room was very tidy and was serviced every day. The hardwood floor and balcony was swept, towels replaced, rubbish taken out, dishes done and beds made every single day. The house keeper offered to do our laundry and we received it back the next day as well. We had no issues with mosquitos, there were a few lizards on the roof outside but that was a non-issue. The grounds were clean, everyday we saw men working to keep the place tidy and presentable. SPACE - We had a beach front apartment (Room 11) which was located upstairs. The room had enough room for us to walk around while the toddler was playing. It also had a baby cot, double bed and single bed as well so I feel the room was very spacious. There was a large wardrobe with coat hangers and shelving we we could fit all of our suitcases and bags. There was a small table with 2 chairs and a couch that seated 3 people. The balcony was large with another table and 2 chairs. There was an air conditioning unit that was quite powerful and cooled our room right down in minutes as well as a ceiling fan. There was a flat screen tv. In the kitchen we had a microwave, toaster, kettle, gas stove with 2 elements, small fridge and plenty of cupboard and bench space. SECURITY - We felt very safe at Tropicana. There is a safe in the wardrobe where we kept our passports. They also have a security guard stay onsite overnight. BEDDING - Very comfortable, my children slept all night which never usually happens. Me and my friend had comfortable sleeps every night. NOISE - Some nights we could hear dogs barking from across the lagoon but it was faint enough to not disturb us. No traffic noise as Tropicana is situated down a long driveway away from the road. LOCATION - About a 10 minute drive from Port Vila township, 15 minutes from the airport. Just down the road from the supermarket and ATM. PRICE - Definitely worth the price. Affordable. FOOD - The chefs make amazing meals. Best beef burger I have ever had. So full of flavour and very big servings. GENERAL - Tropicana has a small pool which starts shallow and then gets very deep at one end. There were 2 kayaks and a stand-up paddle board for guests to use. I decided to book this place because it was close to town and what seemed like a very nice clean modern..ish place to base ourselves...well from the photos anyway. Port Vila is HOT, so for me check in needed to be efficient. I totally understand the concept of island time but come on, we were melting standing at reception waiting for them to get things in order. Our room was a one bedroom apartment which wasnt up to my expectations (Im not high maintenance either). We over looked the once was pier which was a shame. (They should update the pics) the bathroom was very small, and the kitchen was not exactly what I imaged, hence why they hardly have any pics of it. The bedroom and view where ok. Just the afternoon view was an absolute stinger. Next door was The Banyan Bar...nice spot for an arvo drink and Pizza, but make sute they dont charge you twice. We ordered drinks and pizza then decided to take our pizza to the room. Upon check out they charged us for the pizza...dont think so! We told them that this had happened to the couple before us...the left hand doesnt see what the right hand is doing. We checked out early because it just wasn't us and headed for the Ramada for some luxury. Would I stay here again..unfortunately thats a no from me. Would I recommend it..not for 7 days, maybe 2 or 3.
