Enroute from Nova Scotia to Ontario, there were no other available rooms on a Saturday night. We were too tired to keep going, so we made do. The room had a heavy smell of deodorizer, probably to mask mold or other odors. The blinds were broken, missing pieces and didn't fully cover the window. The bathroom was very tired and black mold was growing on the wall and back of shower curtain. The beds were hard but looked clean enough and we managed a reasonable sleep. We got up early and showered. Passing on the Kirkland coffee in the mugs that had a taste like the room deodorizer, we grabbed Tim Hortons instead.

Owners seem nice. Old motel with musty smell. Noisy air condition unit. The water in the toilette was greyish when we entered our room (it also had toilette paper in the bowl). No breakfast. Tim Horton is 10 minutes away. Last stop before our drive to Ontario. Did not sleep during the night and left super early the next morning. Not worth close to $170

We arrived at the motel at 05:30 on September 27th. Was well received at the reception. She told us about the newly renovated Indian food restaurant. When we arrived at our room, we opened the door to a somewhat worn down room. As I walked in the floor felt sticky, my wife put on a pair of sockets. I did the same and sat at the computer desk, floor again felt more sticky. I got up and my socks were filthy. We ended up wearing our saddles for the duration of our stay. After further inspection the drain was all rusty, the sheets were to small for the bed. Would not recommend this Motel. Now for the restaurant, "Ranis Kitchen" indian cuisine attached to the motel. The two young men were very pleasant, our server was attentive and always checking on us. Food was good, we found the portions a little small for the price. My only pet peeve was, the plates sitting empty at our table for 45 or moore. Our server must of walked by our table 10 times. He even came over to talk to us, and still the plates remained at the table. Would definitely recommend the restaurant.
