There was extensive construction happening adjacent to our cabin. Dump trucks began arriving daily at 7:30am. Bobcats started working ( and making beep-beep noise) at 7:45 am. Power company had three bucket trucks blocking the access road and one parked in our parking spaces. Not the relaxing, woodland experience we had anticipated. The cabin was nice but there was no hot water in either shower. This happen both days of our stay.

Our cabin was new and updated, cozy. Also, cabin was clean and all amenities were there: laundry machine, dishwasher, utensils, TV's. Purchase your own woods, it will be cheaper. Nice place for getaway.

The experience at The Maple Retreat was incredible. There was clear care put into the design. They thought of everything, right down to special ice cube molds. The sitting area was warm and included some board games and the beds were comfortable. The back porch was the best part. The only thing I would change is a few more blinds for the bedrooms to keep the early morning light out. Would love to stay again. Thank you!
