The Plaza Hotel Edirne

Booked while passing through because of the great reviews. Positive: - large room - clean - super nice employees. Very helpful - Breakfast perfectly adequate - Underground parking available - Bed okay - Safe available - Shopping center within walking distance Negative: - Apparently very thin walls. You can hear the conversations in the adjoining rooms. - You can also hear the doors closing - in my case Loud conversation next door. Children cry and doors slam after midnight. So couldn't sleep well Resume: Maybe I just had bad luck. But I didn't go to the front desk in that case either. They would definitely have taken care of it BUT because of the thin and poorly soundproofed walls I'm deducting a star here. Not a good place for people sensitive to noise. Would I book there again? I don't know, probably not because of the above negative point, BUT other than that it's a good hotel. Value for money is OK but not very good. At short notice I paid about 72 euros for one night for 2 people including breakfast via Trip.com. Not a little when I consider that I often paid less for other well-known hotels. I'm deducting a star for that and giving it only 3 stars this time.
