This motel is good value. Nothing special but good bed, big bathroom, nice TV. Basic content (towels, soaps, tea/coffee, tissues etc) but nothing special Outside of the town centre but only. 5 minute drive. Reception is t very friendly but efficient.

Budget property that was pleasantly surprising! Excellent space in a large room with a divider wall for child's side. Cooking facilities, pool was small but clean.
Garden around the pool could do with some love but served the purpose.
Overall great. The only property that kept prices down during the riverboat festival!

PROS - The family room was isolated from the other rooms, which was great, as It meant you couldn’t hear anyone next to you. Staff were friendly & helpful. CONS - However, the door was very hard to open and damaged, the beds were uncomfortable and sagging. The TV is located above the bench but the only people who can watch it is whomever is in the queen bed. There’s a couch next to the queen bed, but you can’t see tv due to the bathroom wall in the way. The other 2 beds were partitioned off by a wall, so no watching TV. There were only 2 chairs at the table for 3 people. The bathroom walls were dirty, there was nowhere to put dishes down in bathroom as this is where you had to wash them. The shower base was disgusting and it was just a lid covering the drain, easily removed , and a child could easily put their arm down there. Water pressure wasn’t the best. I realise it’s a 3 star Motel but could be a lot better.

OK but not great.
Key wouldn't work easily so they transferred us to another room. Quite old and yucky. Needs renovating. Did the job for an overnight trip, on our way north, but not impressed.

Although the family room was isolated from the rest of the rooms, which was great, and the staff were lovely.
However, the door was very hard to open upon arrival, the beds were sagging, the tv was on wall above bench which could only be seen by whomever was in the queen bed. There was a couch next to the queen bed, but if you say there , you couldn’t see tv properly due to the bathroom wall in the way. All curtains were missing hooks and half hanging off. Walls were dirty in bathroom and the shower base drain which just a lid type thing siting on top of an open drain hole, was absolutely disgusting and loose. Very dangerous, a child could easily put their hand/arm down the drain hole. There was no where to put dishes when you had to wash them in the bathroom sink.
I realise it’s only a 3 star hotel, but…
