A very satisfying stay. As I was worried about the quality of the B&B in Giethoorn, I booked a B&B in Meppel. The hotel is new, the room is big and comfortable, the front desk is friendly and there is a welcome drink. It’s a 10-minute walk to the town. Meppel is a historic town with unique restaurants. For us, it was like we accidentally discovered a treasure trove of attractions. Breakfast is a bit simple, you can add some vegetables and fruits.

Hidden gem. Just outside the town centre, but only 5-10 minute walk. Hotel foyer and bar area and restaurant are all spotless. Modern comfortably and airy. Absolutly lovely attentitive staff. Brilliant. Very comfortable spacious well appointed rooms bean to cup coffee machine. Good size bathroom. Big windows. Aircon. Had cheese and charcuterie snack on arrival. €11. Really good. Evening meal excellent. Just had main courses. Fish and chips and pea purée. Wonderful. Proper chips not silly fries. I had seafood salad and proper chips. Gosh. Fantastic. Homemade tuna salad being accompanied by several big prawns, slices of salmon with dill, variety of very fresh salad leaves cucumber tomato. Best I’ve had for many years. If you’re in Meppel have a few minutes walk to this gem. Awaiting breakfast with bated breath.

This is the second time we visited this hotel. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was simple but good & tasty. Staff from FoH was welcome and helpful, check in was quick easy and so the check out. Just wish that the restaurant closed early as local does not eat late. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Prachtig hotel en kamers! Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt in gezellige binnentuin. Goede donkere kamers en heerlijke bedden met heel fijn beddengoed. Alles zag er super netjes uit met zelfs een koffieautomaat met verse bonen op de kamer. Heerlijk! Fantastische badkamer met stortdouche en heerlijke lotions van de Spa Collection. Genoten!!
