This was the best B&B experience we have ever had. Andy and Helen were perfect hosts along the lines of, staying with old friends who you really love. I have family in Eccleshall but their house is small so we booked Eagle House. I said to my wife as we left that I would return and stay even if my rellys moved to Scotland. Excellent rooms and facilities along the lines of The Hilton or The Academy in Bloomsbury (I've stayed in both). The beds are feather soft and big. Great views. Lots of history and a lovely drawing room to sit and relax in. Breakfast was sumptuous and service exemplary. Don't forget to look for the 'treasure'. Thank you Andy and Helen, we WILL return!

Our stay at Eagle House was delightful as were our hosts Helen and Andy. The room was spotless, warm, cosy and very comfortable and gardens a delight to walk through. We felt very spoilt at breakfast with almost anything you wanted served with a smile. The location too - so easy and felt so private and within a short stroll of the small pretty town of Eccleshall with lots of choice for evening supper. We will return. Thank you

Lovely location, very beautiful house with a good bed and a fantastic breakfast. Helen and Andy were lovely and very accommodating. I went up on business, but I'd definitely go back for a break with my partner or the whole family. Nearby town has plenty of pubs, a wine shop and local amenities.

Wow, what a Gem! Fabulous setting, great location, 5 Star accommodation and hosts. From the home baked flap-jacks to fresh fruit in the room, everything about our stay was just great. A particular mention for the bed...probably the most comfy ever and certainly two nights of the best sleep for many years. In a word (or a few) a lovely few days stay. Tony & Denise, Cardiff

Wow! What a Gem! This welcoming HoteL/B&B has it all.....decor, atmosphere, location and friendly & accommodating hosts. The room and amenities are everything you would expect from a 5 Star hotel, including nice touches eg fresh fruit in the room and lovely homemade flapjacks. Perhaps the most impressive thing? My husband and I had a one night stay at this lovely property. The house itself is gorgeous and Helen and Andy are great hosts, with great knowledge about the history of the house and the area. It is a short walk into the town centre where we had a good choice of places to eat and drink. We didn't have breakfast at Eagle House, as we had alternative plans that morning, but they left us an array of biscuits and homemade flapjacks available to have with our morning cup of tea. We will definitely be back

Eagle House is one of those places you really want to keep a secret so when you book you manage to get a reservation :)) I visited alone and was made so very welcome and immediately felt at home. Andy and Helen's house is super stylish and in keeping with the history of the house with their own interior accents added. Slept like a baby in the best bed and woke to a wonderful breakfast overlooking over their curated lawns and gardens - what a find. Will definitely be returning.

Helen and Andy were the perfect hosts & made us feel relaxed and welcome. The property & garden was beautiful as well as interesting. The rooms clean, the breakfasts cooked to perfection. The house is situated in a small and friendly town. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

We stayed at Eagle House at the beginning of July. We were extremely impressed with the hotel itself. We got a warm welcome from Helen and Andy. Hotel is beautifully decorated. The room we stayed in was fabulous. Great size and lovely and bright. Whole place was immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious. They were perfect hosts and we will definitely stay again when travelling south.
