The Ebrington Arms

We were really looking forward to trying out this award winning, quaint Cotswold pub. Turned up late on Sunday and were fortunate to get a table in the obviously very busy restaurant. Restaurant was very warm which we discovered later was due to a faulty heating system which meant the radiators were on. Food ordered and turned up quite quickly. All very good so far. Unfortunately the meat was tough and the roast potatoes were dry. It seemed however that other customers were happy so we may just have been unlucky. As someone else has commented the knife wasn’t the sharpest and the fork kept turning around in my hand. Look may be more important than use. Be prepared to pay ‘Cotswold’ prices.

This is a fantastic place to go for a meal. The staff are all so polite attentive and helpful. We had a lovely Sunday dinner we couldn’t fault the place at all. Definitely recommend to take a visit the interior is lovely with lots of nooks and crannies which make it so interesting. It also has a lovely beer garden which we used on the Friday afternoon

We had a wonderful stay at The Ebrington Arms! Nothing was too much trouble, our room request was accommodated (Room 4 lived up to expectation!) and every single member off staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food was fab too-especially the gingerbread sponge! Thanks for having us

Had a wonderful meal at Ebrington Arms in the charming village of Ebrington in the Cotswolds. Fantastic menu with many delicious dishes - standard pub fare and much much more. (We had the pork chop, lamb and gilt head bream at our lunch). Great wine list. Lovely atmosphere in the quite old but beautifully maintained pub. Great service. Very reasonable pricing for a very high quality meal!

6 of us ate here on menu change day. We were on a family holiday in the Cotswolds and decided on the Ebrington Arms for our "meal out". We had all kind of made our choices before going, so the new menu was a surprise. However the food was extremely good and the service excellent. The knives aren't the best for pork chops, (which were lovely and tender) but you can ask for a steak knife. Personally my choice for dessert had been sticky toffee pud, but as it was not on the new menu I had the gingerbread sponge which was delicious.

My husband and I were traveling with friends and stopped by the Ebrington Arms for a cocktail and ending up staying for dinner. The staff, especially Chris and Jacob, were welcoming, friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. As a result, we had a fabulous dinner in the bar. My halibut dinner was delicious along with a lovely Pinot gris. We will be back before we leave the Cotswolds !
