Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive

Conveniently situated near the airport and Maria Islands, this beachfront property impresses guests with its cleanliness and friendly staff, providing an excellent overall experience.

For starters, Coconut Bay had a very organized kiosk at the airport and we were immediately put on a van and whisked to the property - it only took a few minutes to arrive! ( bonus) . Then we were greeted with a welcome drink ( so refreshing) and a face towel . We stayed in the Harmony ( adult side) and our room had recently been renovated- beautiful and we even had Smart mirrors ! All the food was delicious! As a tip, book a reservation for the speciality restaurants when you arrive- we had superb meals. But honestly , I loved the variety at the buffet and could have eaten there every meal. The eggs Benedict were one of my favorites! Although the sargassum was bad and we didn’t use the beach ( it is everywhere on the Atlantic side) it would not deter me from staying there as there were numerous pools that were enjoyable and not crowded! I can’t say enough praise about the friendly and helpful staff! Even sitting in the lobby area staff would approach you to see if you wanted a drink! No waits at any bar and many , many cocktails to choose from! Vernon , an aquatics instructor gave the best workout ! And watching how graceful he was enjoyable too! They do a rubber duck race for 10$ per duck ( so much fun) and the proceeds are donated to help children in at Lucia! We booked a 1/2 day trip with the hotel to see local sites, visit a mud bath and eat local food - great trip and glad we took the advice of the staff. A few pleasant surprises- we had a late afternoon flight and we were welcome to eat, drink and take full advantage of the property until we left 😃. Also, they had several washers and dryers which were free for guests to use ! The only negative was that I probably gained a few pounds on that trip ( but that was my fault and due to the great food😂) I would definitely return!!!

The resort itself is 5-star. However once we arrived we quickly realized the seaweed issue makes the beach unusable. That being one of my main reasons for going I was very disappointed. That is out of the resorts control. So that being said the pool and water park are excellent. The food is the best I have ever had at a resort. Every restaurant is excellent and the quick serve food is also surprisingly excellent. The rooms could use a renovation, but the service from the staff is excellent . We also loved the petting zoo on premises. Specifically the puppies! There are lots of excursions you can take directly from the resort. Overall it was a great experience for what is in the resorts control.
