Avoid at all costs ,it’s not worth it, even if you don’t have many options. I can guarantee that anything else would be better than this. We booked this room through Trip.com, and upon arrival, we were told we had to pay £5 for parking ,despite there being a sign stating that parking is free for guests, but not for those who book through a third party company… The rooms were filthy and in terrible condition. They are in need of refurbishment. We asked to change rooms but were told the hotel was fully booked. One of the windows wouldn’t close, so we had to sleep with it open. That might have been bearable, except the hotel is right next to the M5, and the noise made it extremely difficult to sleep. The bathroom was dirty,the floor hadn’t been hoovered or mopped, and the shower floor was disgusting (thankfully, I had flip-flops). The toilet hadn’t even been flushed. The carpet was stained and unvacuumed. The walls were falling apart. I even found a dirty sock and used tissue in the room. The receptionist did offer to clean the toilet, but that doesn’t make up for the overall state of the place. The hotel listing shows a picture of a swimming pool, but there isn’t one. They also claim to have a gym ,where is it? All I saw was a tiny room with three cardio machines. I only stayed because I couldn’t find anywhere else at the last minute, and they refused to offer a refund or even a partial refund. They told Trip.com customer service that they were offering us free breakfast as compensation ,but they only called us at 9am to let us know, and breakfast ends at 10. I was asleep until 9:30 because I’d been kept up most of the night by the noise. Honestly, this was a total waste of money and a really bad experience.

This hotel has excellent hygiene standards, with beautiful, modern decor. Although the bathroom fan in my first room was quite noisy, they immediately switched me to another room—fantastic service! Every staff member was polite and professional. I’d give them full marks.

It’s a standard hotel no heating no air con bed was nice there WiFi didn’t work

Very clean and it was easy to locate,when we got there the receptionist was welcoming,our room was clean ,parking was free,over all I recommend and I will be staying there again

Convenient location, just off M5 and 10 mins drive from Portishead. Arrived at 7pm and parking was challenging - no bays free outside hotel or in the overflow parking on the edge of the lorry parking. Because of the one way system ended going out and round the roundabout multiple times to try and park. Once I got to the hotel I was told you can park anywhere on site (£5 charge) which would have been very useful to know this in advance. Spacious room. Very odd double bed with two narrow and convex single mattresses under a sheet, very uncomfortable. Ironing board burnt/stained. Some stains on carpet. I didn't visit restaurant/bar area. Not terribly noisy given location. Overpriced at £90 + £5 parking
