The service attitude is average. They require you to check out at 11 o'clock, not even a minute later. Otherwise, they keep calling to urge you. The tone of voice is very bad, as if they want to kick you out.

Fortunately we did not have similar experiences others have written about. Yes, this is an older property in need of a major refresh. It was purchased last year and hopefully new management will sink some money into this hotel which has existed for centuries. Staff was very friendly; one staff member greeted us at the door, brought a luggage rack and took it to our room. Room was spacious with comfy bed. Bathroom included shower bar and magnifying mirror (wish Marriott had these in all its properties). When I booked I did see restaurant was closed; be aware there is no food. No complimentary coffee in lobby, no little fridge with yogurt, pastries, etc. There is a coffee maker in room. Room was very clean.

I have never stayed in a bigger sh!t-h@le in my life. Our entire team booked this hotel as we were participating in the World Series of Lacrosse. 25 rooms. Ant. Mold infested pool. No Towels. No toilet paper. No soap. No restaurant. No bar. No Marriott Club. 4am fire alarm. We exactly saw amazon deliver a box of toilet paper and it was handed out like rations. How Marriott allows this place to operate under their umbrella shows that they have zero quality control. Wish I would have read the reviews on this hotel prior to booking because everything I read is exactly what I experienced. Management, please do me a favor and DON'T respond with your empty cut and paste apology. You have done nothing to fix the problems. At least we can give you an A+ for being consistently horrible.

This place was in a state of neglect that I didn’t think was possible for a Marriott property. The Tate they were charging was absurd for the conditions within this hotel. There were dead bugs collected in the light fixture above our shower, stains on the carpet, stains on the walls, loose wires hanging from the ceiling of the elevator, and the “club lounge” was closed. The grounds were also in a state of severe neglect as the grass was way overgrown, there were weeds growing out of the beds talller than the grass, and misc junk scattered throughout the property. This place needs to be closed. I’m not sure how it’s in Marriott portfolio.
