We wanted to book the function room for a 70th birthday party. After several tries via phone I finally spoke to someone who advised me to put my request in writing to "reservations" This was sent on the 16th of June. I finally got a reply on June 30th Reservations @ Carriage House Mon, Jun 30, 2:48 PM (12 days ago) to me ( note, spelling is correct as received) Hope you are doing well, Sorry for the delay. We can’t do this function for you. We closed on the weekends and chef’s is not ready to work for for this. I apologies for the inconvenience. Ah, so you dont have a chef who works the 3 busiest days of the week ? The room might be nice but the customer service is a zero.

I have started staying here for my monthly work visits. It’s a little out of the CBD, and quite peaceful and the staff at reception are lovely. Especially the lady in the mornings at checkout. The rooms are great clean and updated. As a travelling Rep, it’s my home away from home. have yet to try the Restaurant but will soon. Highly recommend this property

I like the customer service, the place was clean and it is easy to shop around but the Wi Fi did not have good network.

Any star above 1 must have been written by staff. Not only was it a noisy and dirty place, the towels were threadbare, dust and dirt in the rooms, lipstick on the cups, last guests empty drink cans, mouldy bathroom and sink. Aircon made very loud noises all night, no flyscreens for fresh air, musty dirty smell covered with nasueating air freshner. Across from an indutsrila area so lots of loud trucks all day and night. Ordered breakfast the night before and had to go and ask for it as it was not ready. Cancelled coffee order after wiating for 30mins. Very short staffed, the staff did the best they could.

Our room has no interent as it was advertised, cushions had stains, no globe on one bedside lamb, u cant lock the back door, the family room where the kids stayed smells as if there was a problem with toilet, so the kids kept that door shut at all times, fridge didnt work in there they had to come and use our fridge. Food was great
