Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/East Ridge

This was a one-night stay on our way back to Florida. Hotel was close to I-75, so easy on & off. Check-in and check- out were super fast, desk clerks were very friendly, but only the morning guy was masked up. Room & shower were really nice. Stayed on a Sunday night so it was nice & quiet. Walked to Champy’s to eat dinner & watch football games. Had a full breakfast buffet (we were the only ones in face masks). They had eggs & Canadian bacon and biscuits & gravy, plus all the regular cold stuff (cereal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, etc.). We would definitely stay here again!

Deja and Ms Sonya were phenomenal! They were dedicated to making sure I had the best experience possible and did their best to meet my wants and needs! Great job! This hotel is situated in a great spot convenient to the interstate with plenty of food options nearby.
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga - East Ridge

Very comfortable beds and in-room refrigerator. Easy internet connection. Easy access to highway. Needs more parking spaces. Nothing fancy but great value for the price. I would stay here again. No complaints.

PROS - cheap - comfy bed - no carpet - Nice staff - reasonably ok area around hotel - close to highway - clean CONS - extremely hard to find - odds and ends worn - terrible 70s décor as in left over from the 70s, not a retro nod - Auto AC function did not work, had to use “Constant fan” - constant highway noise all night (but able to be blocked by using that constant fan function on the AC) - thinnest “blanket” ever - only cold “continental” breakfast except for waffles/toast, grits and oatmeal This hotel is EXTREMELY hard to find. It is actually located in the same parking lot as LaQuinta, in the back with another hotel. While LaQuinta has a bright, high sign, this facility has a tiny sign on the ground that you can only see if you are actually at the LaQuinta. We had to call the front desk to get directions. I loved that this didn’t have carpet. Let’s face it, most hotels do terribly at keeping their carpet clean. Why not just not have carpet and have a floor surface that is easier to clean/disinfect? The bed was super comfortable and we slept well with the constant AC fan running. We felt reasonably safe. I’d stay again if in the area.
