Motel 6 Seekonk, MA Providence East

For a motel 6 it was very clean smelled good and looked very nice inside and out

The hotel was not safe clean or friendly staff, The back door of the building was broken and anyone could walk in, The attendant was sleeping when I walked in, Had to wake Him up. The shower stall was stain , comforter had a burnt hole in a smoke-free hotel and sheets were stained .

I'm not expecting much from a Motel 6, but I had a number of issues and realized they were secretly charging more than the price agreed on. -Moved rooms once the first night as the thermostat wasn't working in our first room -We were woken up the next morning by a knock on the door saying that we had to move rooms, they had given us a room they weren't supposed to -An hour later we got the key to the new room and moved, then discovered the shower wasn't working -A technician was going to come to work on the shower, but we didn't have time to wait, so they agreed to let us use the shower in the room we had just been kicked out of -The following morning, the shower still hasn't been fixed and we had to use a shower in yet another room -They agreed to give us 25% off for our troubles, but I realized the final bill was only a few dollars less than the original price. After a number of conversations and phone calls, I found out they had secretly charged us significantly more than the agreed-upon rate. I have not been able to resolve this after spending hours on the phone with the national customer care line and the local franchise, so I just filed a credit card dispute. -We also overheard in the lobby another group saying that they had been overcharged (don't know any details about this though)

If you could give a Negative number I would have. Worst motel stay of our lives. Cliental are questionable as well, sewer smell outside which comes into room. Bathroom had strong smell of Urine, poop on the wall in bathroom, not sure when room was cleaned. Nothing was clean, hair in beds, food and hair on floors, unidentifiable something in dresser, bathroom vent has never been cleaned, water ran in room during the rain. 3 people and only 2 pillows, informed that there were no pillows nor towels. Purchased sheets and pillows as well as blankets at Target down the road. Staff was less then pleasant, and no exterior doors had security on them, so anyone could come into the building. Door to room had gap in it, so had to use two towels to secure opening from smell in hallway, smell was a combination of wet dog, cigarette and ********* smoke. Bought cleaning supplies Lysol and Clorox wipes to sanitize room. Uninhabitable and condemnable. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This Motel is the worst stay me and my family have ever experienced. Months or even years of filth fills the hallways. The rooms ( we had 2 for 2 nights, left afte just one) was extremely disgusting. We literally feared for our helth. I hope someone will avoid to stay here due to this review. NO MORE MOTEL 6!
