OYO Queens Hotel, Skegness

Location: Frequently praised for being near the beach, town center, shops, and restaurants, with walking distances to key attractions.

Where do I start. Had to return home as this is the filthiest most disgusting place ever. It is falsely advertised as a hotel when in fact it's more like a hostel.No food, no toiletries , mould in bathrooms, fire exit steps were blocked with cage trolleys. Sick on front steps not even cleaned, staff lying on sofa on phone constantly and reluctant to even get off the sofa to speak. It was unbelievable . I could go on and on. Keep away.

Booked for a two night break with friends. Checked in. Given key card for room 27. Got to room there were people already in there. Went back to reception given key card for room 18. Got to room it had not been cleaned, blood stains on pillow and a plaster in the bed. Bathroom very dirty. Bag full of rubbish in the room. Went back to reception given key for room 8. Got there people already in room. Then told to put our belongings in room 18 and it would be cleaned straight away. Returned later, room had been cleaned but not to a satisfactory standard. Fire alarm went off at about 8.30 in the morning. Staff / owners walking around corridors in pyjamas asking if people were smoking in rooms. Whole building stunk of ****. We then decided to leave. The hotel is very dated and needs a good clean. Staff do not appear to know what’s going on and are not organised. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.
