I would not recommend this hotel. I was bitten by bed bugs multiple times. Bite marks showed up a hr after I checked out of hotel. Found bed bugs in my belongings. Contacted hotel multiple times and left messages with manager, who has yet to call me back. I contacted choice hotels who supposedly owns Comfort inn and was told comfort inn is a franchise individually owned so they can’t help out. Was told I had to contact manager, who I mentioned, will not call back.

We stayed one night here while visiting the Lancaster area. The hotel was fine, but unremarkable. The front desk was well-staffed and the room was quiet. WiFi worked OK and we appreciated the mini-fridge. The only real knock on the property is that the bathrooms were cramped. There wasn't much space to put a travel bag, especially after accounting for the tissue box they had on top of the sink instead of in the designated spot below the sink. If the price is right, this is an OK place to stay. There's just no reason to favor it over other locations.

From check-in to checkout, my wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn Lancaster at Rockvale. The 2 Queen bedroom and the bathroom were a perfect size. The entire room was super clean, the beds slept well and the a/c unit and TV worked perfectly. The hotel is wonderfully located and in close proximity to everything. The only issue we had was when I awakened at 4am, someone in a nearby room was enjoying a little wacky-tobacco, if you know what I mean. The stench was noticeable in our room for a short time. This was in no way the fault of the hotel. Also, I had a billing issue with the company I booked the hotel room through. Donna at the front desk, THANK YOU for taking time to help me. You're awesome! The next time we travel to Amish country, I will speak personally with someone at the front desk to book my room. Comfort Inn Lancaster at Rockvale, see you again soon.

Very clean
Even though a couple things were worn, the property was very clean. Maybe more seating at free breakfast. The staff was nice and helpful

Excellent location, near all attractions, shopping and great restaurants. Beds were very comfy, and morning breakfast was a plus. Staff were also friendly and accommodating.
