Loved this place! The accommodations were great for two couples. We had a loft bedroom and a master bedroom, each with their own bathroom. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the restaurant on the property. The room was very clean upon our arrival. The reason for the four star rating is the the furniture was pretty beat up and could have been updated a bit. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved taking the chairlift to the top of the mountain! We would return for another visit.

Our room was nice, big kitchen, comfortable bed, good size balcony, nice living area, underground parking. Good location close to the elk chairlift and local village, close drive to the city centre. We had a super massage with Nancy. From negative side. The pool has no umbrellas or shade, so it was quite hot in the day time. Hot tub jet in our building did not work. We hadn’t try lodge restaurant, but there are a lot of options in the city.

This place has potential but needs some serious care and attention. From dirty carpets and glass doors as soon as you enter (that stayed that way for days) to minimal pool chairs, no umbrellas and no poolside service, it makes you wonder what you get for the cost. I am not sure what other reviewers are seeing that we’re not (very clean?!) but this hotel could be so much better with small attention to details I mentioned. Cleaned up, this place would be great.

We spent 2 nights here. The rooms were lovely and spacious. Our kids loved the loft area. Our only complaint was that the pool was unexpectedly closed for maintenance. Our kids were really disappointed to show up to the pool with their floaties to be turned away. The location I beautiful and we would definitely give the resort another try.

an hour after we checked in (all our stuff is scattered in the suit), an employee came and told us we can not use the balcony, as it was not checked yet. in the morning there was a very loud noise of reconstructions in the building (the floor above us). as the hotel was far from full, we feel we should have been given a room in one of the other buildings. the bed was way too soft. we almost fell of it. no extra blankets any where

Our room was comfortable and clean. The hot pool and hot tub were excellent after skiing. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, Cirque, this trip but we have eaten there before and loved it. We stayed in the main lodge which was great as it’s closest to the lifts and the pools. Would definitely recommend!

We love coming to Lizard Creek! The suites are spacious and a great base to be tucked away in the mountains and exploring Fernie. The outdoor hot tub attached to the condo building was a great plus, and very relaxing (especially during the quiet off season)! It was sometimes hard to reach the front desk staff, but interactions were always very friendly. The spacious underground parking is another plus.
Highly recommend. We will be back!
