Coltsfoot Country Retreat

Our wedding at Coltsfoot Country Retreat was absolutely everything we dreamed of and more! From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our big day. The venue itself is stunning, with rolling fields, breath-taking views, beautiful gardens, and a gorgeous ceremony and reception room — it created the most romantic and friendly atmosphere for our ceremony and reception. It was perfect for families too, with lots of young nieces and nephews we wanted to make sure they could enjoy the day too. They were able to make the most of the beautiful grounds, running around and playing outside. We included a visit to see the goats and alpacas and Coltsfoot also had firepits we used to toast marshmallows in the evening. This meant that everyone had a wonderful time, no matter their age. The staff at Coltsfoot were incredible. They were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. From the planning stages to the day of, they made us feel like we were in good hands and helped with every detail, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. I'd particularly like to thank Emma for all of the hard work she put in, we really appreciate everything you did. The staff really made our wedding day so easy and stress free. We received so many amazing compliments from our guests about the venue, the food, and the overall ambiance. The space was spacious yet intimate, and we truly felt like we were in a magical setting. The in-house catering team also delivered delicious food that was beautifully presented, and everything was served on time. We were told by many people it was the best food they've had at a wedding - with particularly high compliments on the lamb. We used many of their recommended suppliers and had excellent experiences with all of them so we would highly recommend checking out their list if you're in need of anyone. Their recommended DJ, Mr H was also excellent and had everybody up and dancing. Mr H was professional, good fun and went above and beyond - we received many compliments from our guests for the DJ as well. We found our photographer Rafe Abrook through Coltsfoot's recommended supplier list as well and he was also amazing. We couldn't be happier with our photos, he gave us exactly what we wanted. He was so easy to work with, professional and personable. We've had many compliments on our photos as well from those we've shared them with. We found it to be a good size to have many of our close family and friends stay after the celebrations too, the rooms were nice and clean and there were lots of options for adding extra beds/cots where needed. We loved staying in the shepherds hut and a cooked buffet style breakfast was provided for everyone the next morning, which really hit the spot! We couldn't have asked for a better place to host our wedding, and we highly recommend Coltsfoot Country Retreat to any couple looking for a stunning and stress-free venue for their big

Very nice and peaceful place the rooms are nice and clean the view from the room it's the best view you can have and staff friendly, many spaces for walks and chill,you can see different species of animals the sunset is so beautiful from there , garden is so beautiful and many spaces to relax

We had our Wedding at Coltsfoot in June, and it was the best day of our lives. The venue is just stunning. Everything about it is perfect. The rooms are all made up so lovely. And The Don, where we stayed is surrounded by the prettiest of gardens. The new breakfast area is such a nice touch allowing your closest guests to gather the morning after your wedding to discuss all the best bits of your special day before heading home. The Chefs, Andy & Alan - we can’t thank them enough. All of our guests when talking to us after the wedding complimented the food, saying how amazing it really was! Thank you all for making our day so special.
