We had a beautiful little room, extremely comfortable bed (the best Ive had for a long time), tea making facilities in the room, lovely view of the meadow, clean and comfortable bathroom. Food in the pub was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. The evening meal menu was abundant in good choices of healthy meals, well presentated and tasty meals. Decor was very horse orientated as you would expect in this area. Thoroughly recommend a stay here, an excellent base to walk from.

What a little gem If you're looking for country walks great food and friendly place this is it. Just spent a beautiful weekend here all the staff were amazing the food fantastic breakfast and evening meals could not fault a thing Friendly staff bedrooms not huge but nice and clean Would I go again definitely

My wife and I stayed for three nights from 2nd - 5th April 2025 at The Queens Arms, East Garston, and what an outstanding country inn it is. We stayed in the Ashdown bedroom, which was both cosy & comfortable. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent and the staff looked after us so well. East Garston is a beautiful village with lots of local walks that we really enjoyed. We will certainly be staying here again. Thanks to all the team for a wonderful stay.

We went to a function in The Lodge for a birthday party. Amazing food, well stocked bar run by lovely staff who were very helpful and seamlessly cleared away and restocked food along with tea and coffee.Thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely location.

First time stay at the hotel and in the area. Room excellent and comfortable… staff very welcoming and efficient. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
One little blip… very noisy outside our room in the early hours on one evening!!!

We found this lovely country pub restaurant on Google - travelled from Yorkshire Friday evening to a friendly welcome Restaurant and bar were quite busy - always a good sign, The service was efficient and atmosphere friendly The restaurant served beautifully prepared, local sourced produce A good range of beers and drinks at the bar The staff were professional and friendly The room was comfortable, clean with bath, plus shower and all facilities Breakfast just added to the great night local sources bacon and sausages tasted wonderful - continental breakfast also available We would recommend to others and we certainly plan to stay again Very convenient if you are en toute to or from nearby racehorse stables

Lovely place, great food, but too much light
Friendly welcome, great location, very good food, the breakfast was up with the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had.
The let down for me was that the room had been designed with no attention to what actually helps sleep. The curtains failed to block the light from the car park lighting and once that was turned off, there were LEDs on everything, no need to turn the room light on to see to move. I tried unplugging everything I could get to but one LED remained, a green one in the ceiling over the door - I assume an attempt to show the exit. After an hour or so of being disturbed by it, I found something sticky, the tab that held the soap wrapper on and stuck it over the LED. This reduced the brightness from solar to maybe bearable.
It reminded me that I must take electrical tape with me when I travel.
