The suite was huge, it was great for the kids and us the pool area and hot tube was also great, breakfast at the door without having to get dressed and go out of your room just adds an extra sense of care

Beautiful resort right on the beach. We had a third floor balcony, looking out at the beach and it was great to have our morning coffee and a nighttime cocktail. Just listening to the water. You could see a beautiful sunset from there. The staff did an amazing job keeping the beach cleaned up. The room was very clean, all except for our balcony which we cleaned up our self as it was covered in spider webs and spider eggs. We probably should’ve just called down to the desk. I’m sure they would’ve came and cleaned it.

Mistake was made with booking date, most likely due to autofill. Hotel uses a booking company that did not send out an itinerary, so mistake was not caught immediately. Explained situation and tried to change to proper date but management refused to assist at all. Essentially said “it’s your problem”. So…lost $438 for nothing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

I went with my daughter and granddaughters who recently turned 21. The hotel itself was great, nice room, comfortable beds, beautiful views. The staff was great. Breakfast delivered to your door each morning, it was ok, nothing great. Hot tub and pool area very nice. We were in room 226 which had a great view, a king bed and a queen bed, so it fit us fine. In the bathroom a ceiling tile was all discolored and sagging, you could tell it’s been that way for awhile. Also in bathroom there was something in the corners, I thought it was mold, I took the terry cloth bath mat to wipe it, turns out in was sand that had been shoved into corner. It had been there awhile, please do a better job when cleaning. Other than that everything was fine.

Room was nice, view was beautiful, pool and hot tub were great! But the customer service…AWFUL!! Daniel you need a class on customer service! I left my bathing suit on the bathroom door. In just a few hours it vanished. He couldn’t care less!!!! It just disappeared. A black bathing suit in a sea of white linens. Just gone! We will not be back! Do better!

The website is deceiving, it shows pictures of two different resorts, Grand Resorts and Grand Sugar but they are the same, the better looking resort Grand Sugar looks no different than Grand Resorts. This resort is desperately in need of an update, don’t be fooled by the pictures. The room is ok but the most telling item of a clean hotel is the remote and it was filthy! The view is amazing but would not recommend staying here. We can hear people walking around in the floor above and doors opening and closing in the hallway and one of the elevators sounds like it’s not working correctly. As for the town itself, it’s crazy busy with a highway running through the center of the city, it you are looking for a bustling city this is it, if you want something more quaint look elsewhere.

Very disappointed, air conditioning was 3 ft from bed. Vents blowing breakdirectly at person nearest to it. Not only uncomfortable, the vents were dirty. Cold air and germs blowing on you. Best part was view from balcony.we were on 3rd floor, no vending or ice machine. Breakfast put in a bag and set outside the door.

Good location to downtown Traverse City, Mi. First floor beach front room, beautiful view of beach and water. Staff friendly and professional. Boxed breakfast was unique; decent selection-delivered timely. Only problem was the stench of cigarettes in the room. When I made comment to desk personnel, she said oh sorry, yeah people just don’t follow the rules of no smoking. I said this was not a one time and it was awful. Especially for my husband who quit smoking within the last year. Disappointed in the response.
