East Ayton Lodge Hotel, Scarborough

I attended this hotel with my son who had a job interview in the area. I found the hotel very pleasant and the staff were lovely. Very polite and customer focused. The menu on the evening was limited so we went elsewhere, but in fairness via a recommendation from the hotel staff. I would return again if in the area

The most friendly establishment we have had the pleasure to stay at for many a year. The staff had smiles throughout the day and evenings with all the guests. The room was kept very clean throughout our stay. My one and only gripe was not enough accessible plug socks. We stayed in room number 1 with a view of the very large lawned area. The window seat a bonus as able to look out over that area in the morning. Breakfast was very good thick bacon and proper butchers sausages. Lots of cereals to choose from,and fresh fruit,and yogurt. A very big thank you to Annie on reception for finding us a room at such short notice many thanks. And a very big thanks to Lydia who was in charge of the bar nothing too much for her, many thanks. Ayton lodge is a fantastic place to stay with easy access to the east coast resorts and sights. Even the gardener had time for you nice chat with him.

Been tonight for pizza and cocktail night was really excellent service and great food. We will definitely be making east ayton our regular eating place. Also great value for money.

Had a wonderful short stay at this lovely little place that I would recommend to anyone, as the staff are very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and I tucked in to a full English every morning, but there restaurant is not open some days in the evening but the bar is great and the prices were very reasonable, having said that just down the road are a few good places to eat. We will definitely be back as it’s nestled nicely between Pickering and Scarborough, so it’s well within striking distance of the coast and the beauty of the dales too.

We really enjoyed our short break at East Ayton Lodge. The room was lovely, it was clean and had everything we needed. The food was all great and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and really helpful.
