Holiday Inn ST. Louis Arpt West-Earth City

Recently spent two nights at this property. Arrived around 8:30 PM on the 16th. Settled into room and went to get some ice. Ice machine was out of order on the 7th. Floor. Went to floors 8,6,5,4,3. No ice machines working there either. Had to go to lobby check in. Girl at front desk had an attitude because she had to go to the restaurant to retrieve ice for me. Decided to take a shower around 10:30. No hot water. Went back to front desk, gave me another room. Had to repack and move to 8th. Floor. Around 1:00 in the morning, fire alarm went off. The morning of the 18th. Went to take a shower, again no hot water. Again, very unprofessional front desk employees. Asked if they had the same policy as Hilton as to 100% satisfaction, they said no. Asked if they would refund one nights rate due to all the unsatisfactory conditions, they said no, would need to contact the manager. They said he would be in at 8:30 AM. Tried to call around 10:00 AM, did not answer, left voice mail, and asked for him to return my call. It’s 4:30 in the afternoon, still no return call. This is the problem with this hotel, incompetent management. This property is an absolute mess. The attitude of the employees is a direct correlation to management. From my experiences on this trip, management is probably just as inadequate as the employees. This property needs better management, who will correct deficient equipment and look after the customers. Someone who will teach employees how to interact with the guests in a positive manner.

Clean rooms and great restaurant. Kristine who must be the hotel MGR was fantastic and very professional. I’m a diamond elite remember and she really was amazing. Also, Rachel who runs the bar and restaurant goes above and beyond to make your dining experience fantastic

The customer service was so bad and the ladies on the front desk were so rude.
