Ein sehr schönes Hotel, sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern , man kann im Restaurant auch sehr gut essen . Die Lage ist perfekt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet . Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen , allerdings nicht das Zimmer unterm Dach nehmen. Sonst ist es sehr zu empfehlen .

Seit 8 Jahren wohnen wir immer wieder hier in einem großzügigen Appartement in einem der zugehörigen Landhäuser, fast schon vor den Toren Hamburgs, wenn wir mal wieder Sehnsucht nach Hamburg haben. Das ruhige und großzügige Ambiente, das liebenswürdige Personal (der Inhaber Bernd Kröger ist sich auch nicht zu schade dafür, seine Gäste persönlich zu begrüßen), das exzellente Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis, das ***** Frühstück entschädigen für die etwas weitere Anreise in die Innenstadt.

Ich kann die Antwort des Besitzers dieses Hotels nicht glauben. Noch gar nicht im Hotel angekommen und auf der Suche nach dringender Hilfe zum Verbleib meiner Zimmerschlüssel. Ich rufe nachts um 22 Uhr bei der einzig verfügbaren Telefonleitung an und erhalte die große Überraschung, dass derselbe Besitzer des Hotel & Landhaus Kastanie, Herr Bernd Kröger, abnimmt. Als ich die Schlüsselausgabemaschine nicht finden konnte und ihm erkläre, dass ich einen langen und harten Arbeitstag hatte und dringend Hilfe brauchte, reagiert er genauso und sagt mir, dass ER AUCH. Besonders Sie, der Besitzer dieses Hotels, BITTE ICH UM MEHR GASTFREUNDSCHAFT, RESPEKT UND EINFÜHLEN MIT IHREN GÄSTEN. Enttäuschend.
