Awesome food! BEST food in Dutch John, UT! BEST food around Flaming Gorge! The pesto burrata was awesome! The Bavarian pretzel with three cheese sauces was great! One cheese sauce was homemade queso. One cheese sauce was homemade pimento cheese dip. The salads are great too! Fresh local berries on the salads! Many hummingbird feeders right outside with lots of activity giving you lunch and a show! Right on a small lake. Very pretty setting! Excellent service!

Red Canyon Lodge was the perfect spot for our family! It is the best spot to stay in the Flaming Gorge area. We stayed in a Ponderosa cabin and loved the views of the lake. My son spent most of his free time fishing in front of the cabin. My daughter and I enjoyed kayaking and canoeing while my husband and son were on a full-day fly fishing trip. There was plenty to keep us entertained. The dogs loved exploring the nearby trails. I highly recommend taking the Canyon Rim trail to the lookouts of the Green River. Spectacular views! We also all agreed that the restaurant was the best in the area. Red Canyon Lodge is peaceful and relaxing but offers plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. Sunsets are amazing. There are also private fire pits for each cabin. We will definitely return.

My husband and I booked 3 nights in Uinta 2. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The cabin was very clean, very comfortable and provided exactly what we needed for our exploration of the area. We knew there was no grocery store so we planned ahead. That worked out well. I’m sure it’s a fun family place in the summer time. Looks like many improvements are being made all over the property, too.

This place is gorgeous!!! The Ponderosa cabins sit right on a gorgeous lake with manicured grass, private docs and large Ponderosa trees!
The property grounds are beautiful and the cabins are nice but dated. The glass on the fireplace was broken in our cabin, the towels very worn and the screens were so bent that the bugs could easily fly in. The cabin and property had lots of spiders! I do not mind that too much but the lodge is in desperate need of maintenance and upkeep. The deck has raised boards that we kept tripping on, nails hanging out and the threshold has a jagged raw piece of sheet metal along the base. If you are wearing flip flops you could cut your foot badly. The main dock has sunk in on one side and has nails hanging out all over.
I will be returning to this property because of it’s natural beauty but wish they would put more time in on the maintenance and upkeep.

This place was rustic, no TV’s, log furniture - not fancy but nice way to disconnect- we loved the spotty internet because people had ro put the phones down !! It had a perfect, cozy covered porch, great fun (you can rent paddle boards etc at the office and there is a little gift shop and restaurant—and very peaceful. You could even consider this a fun day stop, get a burger or snack, let the kids rent paddle boards or a canoe or walk dogs on the trails and eat a burger. It was pet friendly, we booked through air b and b so did not get slapped with any extra surprise pet fees. Really great office staff and owner. Kitchens in units are small but just what u need. We loved the trail right off the property around the lake and to the campground and to the visitor center and flaming river gorge overlooks were awesome. If you have a group w RV’s and campers some could be at nearby campgrounds and you could all easily walk to gather. We had fire pit and free wood. Really fun place if you flyfish the green rivet too. Great place.

Horrible, costly, two nights in Alpine 25. Three windows - 2 openable - 1 screen/lots of flying insects. No screen on the door, either. Ventilation needed! Plastic blinds badly broken - bedroom non-operable. No water glasses, only coffee mugs. No TV remote. Requested remote. Universal remote was left, but would not pair with the TV. No shelf in shower for soap or shampoo - had to use the floor. Picnic table peeling paint. No switch for reading lights - hand turn the bulbs! No cabin svc day 2. Had to request coffee. Delivered to us by a nice young man. Plywood skirting around the outside. Staff seemed to be young and inexperienced. Nicest kids, though. Management and training sorely needed. Certainly a huge disappointment. Will will never be back.

What a beautiful place! I was here with my kids for only one night, I wish we could have stayed longer. The cabins are lovely, the bedding was so comfortable my son asked if we could get him the blankets. We took a horseback ride in the morning, it was amazing. The staff was kind and helpful and the location is perfect, go and stay a while.
