Taj Palace Hotel

The hotel is very well located, at walking distance from the sights and the National museum and close to parks, shops and restaurants. I was assigned a huge suite, probably because it’s low season, and of course it was very comfortable (apart from the pillow, too high and hard). The bathroom was large, with a good shower, toiletries, hair dryer, but no shower cap. There were complimentary slippers and two big bottles of water. The wifi never worked anywhere. The girl at the reception was kind but not very helpful. The room is not cleaned from one day to the other, maybe you have to ask expressly. Breakfast is more than acceptable. There is an ATM but unluckily it doesn't work with mastercard (like many others in the city), so I had to go to a nearby hotel with a suitable cash machine.

A decent property for travelling solo as well as family. In the middle of the city, so lot of restaurants and city attractions walkable from hotel. Internet speed had been a major issue, linens were not that clean but housekeeping was good in keeping the room clean and changing the towels etc. Toiletries were very gold. Breakfast restaurant was beautiful and food options were good for both veg and non vegetarian.
