As a black person u wanna avoid this hotel never wrote a review before but this is the worse hotel. My room number was changed immediately when I got there. She was acting nice and all but u could notice the look and expression. So im like dont think to much about it. Let it go. I get in my room obviously it’s not what I requested. I let it slide cause I wanna sleep n continue my journey the following day. Constant noise of doors banging etc. bare I’m mind I wear hearing aids ! When I’m sleeping I don’t wear them so which shows it much better really loud. 10:30 someone opens my door and peed. What if I was naked or getting dress . The check out is at 12. So the is no reason for opening my door. !!!!

The staff were lovely! However we were placed in a room where the tv did not work, the window didn’t shut completely, and we had no hot water. The staff were amazing and the location was great if you have a car!

The service was awful, from the barmaid when eventually she arruved, breaking off from serving me to serve a group of guests who she had befriended to return to me. The front of house sitting at the reception desk sk that during the evening meal we had to get up from the table to go find her to order more drinks after waiting 30 mins. Waiting 30 mins for our food order to be taken. Hot breakfast is cold. Food is bad, mash potato actually chewy, black pudding taste awful, eggs scrambled awful sausages cold and awful. Food expensive. Terrible place, will ask the company to take this one off the books.

First time I've stayed here & you can tell instantly that this hotel has recently been revamped, with new paint, carpets, bathroom fixtures and fittings etc over the old substrate. Unfortunately, they must have spent all the money on paint as it's the height of summer & there's no ventilation in the rooms so it's a sauna. The dive of a Travelodge at J16 on the M4 is a sauna in summer too but they at least provide a fan in the room. Granted, the window in the room opens, somehow that's NFG as there's no air movement outside and having the window open constantly lets in all the flies, midges & mozzies. Its a shame that for the cost of a room here, they couldn't afford actual double beds (or even just a double mattresses on the 2 single bases). In the double room I have, the 'double' bed is comprised of 2 single beds pushed together which is really uncomfortable as there's a seam right down the middle. Also, I think this hotel must be the only hotel I've visited where the room doors are really helpfully alarmed, so if you leave your door open too long (say like, as you're getting your bag in/out) it sounds like you set the smoke alarm off! Thing is, the door closure dampeners are too stiff, so the doors often hang open by themselves and close really slowly. Que doors slamming constantly as people fight to pull their door closed quickly, before the alarm goes off, and overcome the dampener abruptly, crashing the door in its frame. all. through. the. hotel. at. all. hours! Treat. The breakfast is ok if you get there early. If not then you get what's left as the same staff member is far too busy to replenish the bacon when they're covering reception, booking guests in to breakfast by room number or clearing tables (this seems to be the lowest priority so dirty plates/ cups/ cutlery pile up on tables). The only plus I can say about this place is that there's plenty of parking out front & they make the bed every day. They don't appear to clean much in the rooms though as the same tea stain has been on my bedside table for the last 2 days.... Hopefully, if I have to stay in the area again in the future, I'll get work to book The Village Hotel at Solstice Park -their windows don't open but they do have aircon...

I attended an event in the main event space and stayed overnight the night before and the night of the event. Being a Sunday, and a fairly quiet night - Rachel was the main point of contact for check in, dinner and the bar. This worked perfectly as they are all located together. The event took place all day Monday and concluded with dinner on the Monday. Pre dinner drinks were served on the terrace/courtyard at the rear of the property that had fantastic views across the countryside. Dinner was fantastic as was the service and Rachel again looked after us in the hotel bar and with the sales Manager Preet. A leisurely breakfast took place the following day before I jumped into a taxi to Salisbury station. Given the location, the team had prebooked me a local taxi as Uber is not reliable. Should I be in the area again, I would stay again most definitely. The close proximity to the motorway is ideal and the view from the rear is stunning. The accommodation is of a good size, well laid out, clean and tidy and.

Stayed one night on business trip. Comfy bed, soft pillows. Great size bed. Bathroom, large shower, clean and enough towels. Plenty of room for all your needs. Room clean and spacious, plenty of room to work in the evening and storage. Evening meal, great service, Menu had a variety choices. Staff seemed happy. Good choice on Wine and beer. Breakfast, Full English breakfast, hot and plenty of it, excellent choices of continental breakfast as well. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel, everything you could need for a quick trip. Ample parking, even at busy periods
