Stayed in the lodge for the fourth time and I’ve got to say - previously we’ve had great stays here (obviously - which is why we keep coming back) and this year we were extremely disappointed in the service and complete lack of care about whether or not things are working and guests are receiving the service they should. When we got there, the electricity was off in half of the condo. We called down to the desk to let them know and asked them to send someone up - no one ever came. There was never any follow-up. We ended up figuring out that a breaker was popped on the electrical panel and getting it on ourselves - but had we not, I suppose they would have been fine just letting us be there without electricity? The condo we had was missing a lot of things - like dish soap, laundry soap, extra towels, etc. We had to go down to the front desk to ask for these items separately. We were there Thursday thru Sunday. The WiFi went out throughout the resort Friday morning. It never came back on for us. We called the front desk and went down in person to ask several times - finally they told us that it was back on but they knew that it still wasn’t working for “some folks”. It never worked on our floor at any point - meaning there was also no TV available. Despite our letting them know it wasn’t working on our floor repeatedly - they just didn’t care. There was absolutely no attempt made to rectify the situation. They acted as though we were crazy for continuing to ask. They charge way too much for those condos for that kind of attitude. Just really disappointed in the lack of service and hospitality. Things happen. WiFi goes out. But there’s no reason for such a total lack of care and poor service. VERY disappointed.
