The room was large, very comfortable and incredibly clean! Modern furnishings and amenities; Keurig coffee, soaps and shampoos - were a delightful surprise. I was in Durango for a funeral. The airline lost my luggage! The hostess at the front desk was nurturing and helpful in a difficult situations I would highly recommend this in for a stay in Durango.

The room was clean. The bed/mattress creaks every time someone moves. No water pressure from shower head. Room was very small, no desk. Old and outdated. Mattresses should be replaced. Pictures look nicer than what you get. Hard to find a hotel that does NOT allow pets.

These photos are very deceiving- this was not our experience at all. The whole thing was a massive construction site. It was loud with workers shouting to each other. We paid up front online based on the other reviews. Went in and sat down on the bed and it was very uncomfortable so we promptly just dropped off our key and left. Our room was dark and hot. The public area looked like a war zone with things strewn about. We had a long drive and were looking for a place to relax- there was no way we could have relaxed in that space so that’s a lot of money wasted. This hotel shouldn’t even be open u til some of this work is completed. It’s just an old hotel with some new paint and floors. I don’t k ow where all of these amazing reviews came from or how trip advisor says it’s the third best in Durango? Something doesn’t add up but maybe a well staged soft opening from the photos. Beware.

good place for young skiers on a budget or singles on a budget. walls very thin. You can hear doors opening and closing all night long. Place was very clean and very simple so that's a good thing but not the most convenient location. Staff was very friendly. Place is also under construction.

Great price, very CLEAN, comfortable room! As soon as we walked into the room I was so happy that it smelled fresh! The rooms aren’t fancy, but just what is needed for a good nights sleep and a nice, hot shower. We would stay here for a longer time, but were only passing through on this trip. Nice owners, small motel in a great location. We will be back!

Older updated motel with spacious updated room, comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, and easy parking. The room's floor was dusty, but overall the room was very clean. It was good to have a table and chairs having stayed in another location without those. The TV service was Roku and did not include local network stations, besides being difficult to use. Adventure Inn is located north of downtown Durango within a few minutes of the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge excursion train as well as 45 minutes from Mesa Verde National Park. Friendly and efficient and helpful staff. Helpful to have fridge and microwave in the room

If you are looking for a quite clean room of good size with comfortable bed in good location to visit Durango and surrounding this is a very good place. Not a luxury hotel. Directly on Route 550 which becomes later the Million Dollar Highway to Ouray, CO. Wifi is of good speed. Parking is free. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I had stayed here 12 years ago and loved it. Reviews are still good so decided to stay here again. The room is just kind of small and older and the bed wasn't comfy. It was a lot I think $153 though Durango is probably on the expensive side. It's okay just not modern at all.

This place must have been considered quite upscale in the 50s! They have updated everything possible though solid construction means some things can’t change. It was quiet in the evenings even though located on the main drag. My one complaint was that the fridge didn’t really get cold. The room was very clean. Oh and great towels! Durango is quite expensive so I was glad to find this placed - I would stay here again.
