Cutty Sark Inn

Visited Eyemouth this week and called into this place for lunch it was very nice and good quality for a good price. Would recommend this place if you looking for food. Service was excellent and would recommend the crayfish baguette with chips

Me and my partner came up to Eyemouth for 2 days to visit family. He booked the Kutty Stark Inn, when I arrived I was surprised to find that the room was two single beds with a separate bathroom down the hall from our room. I cannot complain about this as it was specified on the confirmation email. However, the quality of room was questionable. The carpets did not look hoovered as they were very dirty as can be seen in the pictures. Almost every wall in our bedroom and the external bathroom had marks and stains all over them as can also be seen in the pictures. The bathroom floor does not seem like it had been moped as my feet were immediately dirty from stepping out the shower. When checking in and when we required help from staff; walking up to what seemed like a locals pub to get the help was intimidating. I cannot complain about the staff at ALL, they couldn’t have been nicer and they were very respectful. Now my main issue is the price, £125 for two nights (sunday & monday). It was overall a very unsatisfactory stay and charging people that price is pretty crazy in my opinion. If it had been myself that booked the room, I would have probably requested a refund and stayed elsewhere.

Last minute booking which was hassle free and excellent from the time we got there until we left excellent hosts a a great pub attached every body was friendly and will definitely go back again next time I go back to the farne isles and I would highly recommend the Cutty sark inn
