Het appartement (wij hadden een duplex op de bovenste etage) bevindt zich op minder dan 5 minuten van de strandboulevard en is tevens vlakbij een bushalte, waar je bijvoorbeeld de (gratis!) bus kan nemen tot in het centrum. Om de hoek zijn een aantal parkeerplaatsen, maar hiervoor moet je vroeg genoeg zijn, want die zijn erg gegeerd. Het appartement zelf is best oud, maar helemaal gerenoveerd en smaakvol gedecoreerd. Het is er super netjes en voorzien van alle gemakken. Denk hierbij aan een Senseo-apparaat (met padjes), waterkoker, magnetron, haardroger... Je kan er zelf een was draaien, ophangen op het droogrek en strijken. Je weet nooit! Naast de perfecte ligging, de uitgebreide faciliteiten en de netheid, krijg je er nog een heel vrolijke en gastvrije eigenares bij, die je 's morgens verrast met verse croissants en een leuke babbel, indien gewenst. Ze kan je vanalles vertellen over de omgeving, heeft tips voor leuke restaurants en plekjes om naartoe te gaan. Als we nog een keer naar Duinkerke komen, gaan we er geen seconde over twijfelen om weer dit appartement vast te leggen. Dikke 10 voor sfeer en gezelligheid!

Excellent accueil de la propriétaire très gentille. Gite très propre et fonctionnel dans un immeuble de caractère très bien refait. La petite attention d'apporter du pain et des croissants le matin a été très appréciée. Le frigo mériterait une partie congélation et un petit coup de peinture ds le salon, salle de bain et chambre serait bienvenu. Ns y reviendrons car situé a 2 pas du front de mer.
