Hotels in Shazhou Market, Dunhuang

This was a great hotel for us! The room was quiet and comfortable. Even though they don’t have non-smoking rooms, they gave our room a treatment to remove any smoke odors, and we didn’t smell any smoke! However, sometimes we saw people smoking in the halls near the elevator doors which was unpleasant, or in the restaurant which was also unpleasant. But overall, it didn’t bother us. The breakfast was good except for the terrible coffee which did not even taste like coffee. The service is very good though, with friendly and kind staff. And they have very good clothes washing machines available to guests, for free. It was very helpful! I would stay here again.

Great hotel in great location. The staffs are also very helpful and great service mind. Firstly, the hotel upgraded our room for free, it was nice, clean, and spacious. After that the robot delivered us free welcome yoghurts. The location is nice, in the middle of shopping street, bakery, convenient stores. It is convenient to take cab to Mingshashan. The laundry room looks nice, new and clean. Definitely we will come to this hotel if we were back in Dunhuang.

We had a great stay. Location is literally next to the night market (this means that it can get a little noisy but if you don't want that then don't stay near a night market). The room is large, clean and with all the amendities. There a guy working there who speaks a little bit of English and the staff is very friendly. We only had a little miscommunication. Upon leaving we wanted to know where the bus to the train station left (if it was the same location as where we arrived with the bus). And the lady for the hotel insisted that there was no bus and that we should take a taxi. Just so you know, there is a bus (or shared-van for I think when it is not high season) for 5 yuan from behind the Dunhuang hotel. It starts at 8.30 and stops at 17.30. Besides that we would still recommend this hotel!

Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities and is easy to use. Hygiene: The hotel and the room are very clean. Environment: The internal environment of the hotel is good, and the outside is adjacent to the main road, with convenient transportation. Service: The overall service is very good! The front desk service is warm, thoughtful and meticulous, the room attendants are enthusiastic, and the catering department is enthusiastic. Welcome snacks: The welcome snacks are rich, including small snacks, fruits, and yogurt. Thumbs up! For this trip to Dunhuang, I browsed a lot of hotels on Ctrip before departure. Because it was a holiday or a weekend, many hotel rooms were tight. When I saw the Ai Si Ding Hotel, I finally decided through the hotel introduction, the passengers' messages, and the phone call to communicate with the front desk. When I arrived at the hotel, the reception of the little sister at the front desk was very enthusiastic. The hotel also upgraded our room type for free and explained the relevant service content very clearly. When we went to Mingsha Mountain, she helped us make an appointment for shoe covers. The hotel's breakfast is quite good, with many varieties and good taste. The hotel is in a good location, and it only costs more than ten yuan to take a taxi to Mingsha Mountain. You can walk or take the bus to Shazhou Night Market.

Strategically located to stage to places of interest: like Dunhuang spring crescent n also Mogao Grottoes. Within 20minutes. Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping. Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away. I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.

This time I stayed at Dunhuang Silk Road Yijun Hotel and the experience was great! The hotel has an elegant and comfortable environment, complete facilities and a convenient location, making it very convenient to go to Mogao Grottoes or Mingsha Mountain. Two staff members should be particularly commended: 1. **Front desk clerk Yan**——Super good service attitude, warm and thoughtful, making people feel very cordial from check-in to check-out. Hotel guests have free access to cherry tomatoes, yoghurts, coffee, minerals, sweets and Chinese tea at their convenience. The staff of the hotel are courteous and friendly. The staff are ready to provide information and guidance. Beside the hotel, there is a restaurant and Shazhou Night Market is 60 meters away. Convenience for shopping for local foods, souvenirs, and etc. Next to Shazhou Night Market is the Dunhuang Bazzar, where more 50 eatery stalls are available. Visitors are spolit for choices of food and it operates till midnight. Will stay at this hotel in our next visit to Dunhuang.

Metropark is a nice hotel located near a river and is relatively central to the city. A lovely staff member, 李雪 (Li Xue) helped me check in and she took me to my hotel room. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel room is very spacious, clean and quite luxurious. The hotel is within walking distance to the night market and the museum. Highly recommended. 这是一家不错的酒店，位于河边，相对靠近市中心。一位可爱的工作人员李雪帮我办理了入住手续，并带我去了酒店房间。她非常乐于助人，非常友好。 酒店房间非常宽敞、干净，相当豪华。从酒店步行即可到达夜市和博物馆。 强烈推荐。

This hotel has the best environment. I later changed to a 4-star hotel and stayed there for a day. I finally realized the difference. You get what you pay for. This hotel has super good service attitude. There is air conditioning in this weather. The accommodation environment is also new and clean. It is very good. It can also pick up and drop off at the airport. Xiaotian and Xiaoren at the front desk are enthusiastic in service.

The location is very good, there are many snack shops nearby. The front desk manager was very friendly and attentive. He was polite during reception and gave a detailed introduction to the various situations in the store. Helped us arrange three rooms on the same floor, very attentive. The room is large, clean and has plenty of charging ports. There is a humidifier to keep the room from being too dry. There is no problem with using disposable bath towels. It is recommended to add some hooks and storage space in the bathroom so that customers can change clothes in the bathroom instead of having to go to the outside room to get dressed after taking a bath, which would be embarrassing and cause colds due to the temperature difference.
