This was our first time staying overnight at Cromlix and it did not disappoint. From the lovely welcome at reception by Shona and the glass of arrival fizz, till our departure, the service by every staff member was outstanding. It is such a cozy, unpretentious environment that has been created and we could not fault it. Drinks in the bar were good and dinner/breakfast was delicious. We were upgraded from a cottage room which was a nice surprise, our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Afternoon tea. It was a joke. 4 of us visited as we had previously enjoyed a meal here. We have visited many places over the years for afternoon tea. This is the worst we have ever had. 5 savouries plated , 4 had cheese. I asked before it if I could have a plain sandwich. I was brought a finger sandwich. The girl even took one of the savoury ones away. She could have taken them all away as I didn’t eat any. The scones were good. But for a finger sandwich and 2 scones. No tea or coffee as juice was bought. This was shocking value for £42. a head. I suggest the person who makes up the choices visits other venues to sample afternoon teas. Some have soup, sandwiches, sausage rolls with a selection of cakes for nearly a third of the price. I would suggest to anyone that expects a sandwich or sausage roll as this is a norm for afternoon tea , to visit somewhere else.

Quite simply the best afternoon tea. On arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome and our car was parked for us, which was an unexpected bonus as the weather was terrible. The staff were attentive, the cocktails were delicious, and the food was amazing. (Not a sandwich in sight). The decor and ambience are also really well done and the grounds are beautiful. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed here twice before. Once again everything was fantastic. The Viola room, food and service were 5 star with special mention for Bella in the restaurant and Sharon and Yona in reception who all have a bright future in the hospitality sector. A great way to spend our 45th anniversary ,

Had a lovely afternoon tea at the Cromlix. I have food allergies (gluten and wine) and these were catered for superbly. The food was delicious and the staff and service were excellent. Have been to other places where allergies were clearly viewed as an inconvenience but I was made to feel very welcome which greatly reduces the anxiety associated with food allergy. I will definitely be back.

Nachdem wir in diesem wirklich wunderschönen Hotel vor etwas mehr als 2 Jahren schon einmal zum Afternoon-Tea eingekehrt sind, wollten wir diesmal einen Cocktail in der gemütlichen Bar genießen. Obwohl um 15 Uhr am Nachmittag alle Plätze in der Bar frei waren und wir nur uns nur für etwa 30 Minuten aufhalten und dabei einen Drink einnehmen wollten, wurde uns der Zutritt verweigert mit der Begründung, dass vielleicht Gäste des Hauses noch kommen würden und deshalb die Bar frei gehalten werden muss. Schottische Gastfreundschaft haben wir auf unserer Tour vielerorts erleben dürfen, hier leider nicht!

Booked Afternoon Tea on September 4, 2024. Cromlix House Hotel is stunning. We were welcomed upon arriving at The Cromlix and taken into the bar area where we had Prosecco. We were then taken into the glass house and seated at our table and we ordered different flavoured tea. The afternoon tea selection was excellent. The best afternoon tea I have ever had. The service was excellent, the waitress advised us what each item filling was, every thing was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Did not have time to look around The Cromlix because we had booked a time slot at Blair Drummond Safari Park. Have booked The Cromlix In December for Christmas wreath making and lunch.

A smashing treat to stop off here on our way to the Highlands. Very welcoming and our room was great! The only downside was that it rained so we couldn't explore the grounds which we had been looking forward to so we will just have to return! Also possibly the best scones ever!
