Staying at Seams Like Home Bed & Breakfast was a spur of the moment decision for me, but I’m glad that I made it. I stayed 2 nights to revisit the Ohiopyle area, an area where my family had vacationed for 29 years — until my wife’s passing 14 1/2 years ago. This was a great base for my stay. The hosts, Rick and Donna, were so welcoming. I made my reservation the evening before I arrived, and Donna called to welcome me and determine my preferences the next morning. The location is ideal for a calm and peaceful getaway. Some things have changed since I was last in the area 14 years ago, but the things that drew me and my family here year after year have remained the same. It’s still rural Western Pennsylvania with real mountains (I’m from Central Ohio), adjacency to the Great Allegheny Passage, Ohiopyle, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water & Kentuck Knob, the Flight 93 Memorial, and so much more. The facilities are very comfortable and inviting. The ubiquitous quilts add to the charm.I enjoyed my interactions with the hosts and other guests. I only had 2 days, so I need to return, preferably in the fall. -Charlie Holloway
