This hotel is HORRIBLE. The front desk person was nice but the management is the worse I have ever seen in all my years of using Hilton properties. Please don’t go to this hotel, EVER! Unless you want the fire alarm to go off randomly in your sleep for no good reason. Or maybe you want to get charged for a room you didn’t book but got charged for anyway. That’s your management

I'm a long-time Hampton Inn enthusiast. NO MORE! We arrived on June 27, on the way to the beach. My husband had inadvertently booked a day early and this Hampton was booked and had no rooms for that night. Even though we went to another Hampton, we were charged FULL PRICE for two rooms for the next night. We were in a 24 hour window of cancellation. I know that the policy asked for an earlier cancellation, but a little grace could have been given and SHOULD have been given. My husband is 82 years old and just slipped up on the date! I KNOW the hotel was booked the next night, so no money would not have been lost. I called and asked to make sure the hotel was full, just to make sure. ( I tried to get half back , calling Hilton, but they were equally distant and uncooperative. I mean, it wasn't like we tried to cancel at the last minute. ) The Hampton we ended up going to in Richmond couldn't believe we were charged for that night! Don't go to this hotel!!!

I would give you a 0 if I could Horrible experience at this particular Hampton Renovations were being done on the ground floor We always stay on the ground floor We are elderly and I have a bad knee Fiance almost fell in front lobby checking in where they are laying tile No carts Carried luggage up 2 flights of steps after front told us to go to end of building and we were rudely yelled at by the construction workers and turned away No coffee maker No faucet on wet bar We were woke up at 8-8:30 to tell us the water will be turned off between 1 and 3 When we complained Miguel who would only give their first name was very rude We called the 800 number Lady was extremely nice agreed with us and said hotel should be closed until renovations were complete And to add insult to injury we paid 10 extra dollars for an upgrade We always stay at Hamptons but this experience is horrible Here for my granddaughters graduation after we drove 6 hours arrived late tired and pouring down rain so we're stuck now But NEVER again will we stay here

Pro: The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Con: The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. The TV was hard to operate. You need your passwords from your own streaming accounts.

Convenient for University of Richmond visit. Vallarta Mexican restaurant right across the street that was delicious and had a Mariachi band.
