This hotel is no frills, but sufficient. Friendly staff at check in, spacious room, comfortable bed, very clean. Breakfast was fairly basic. It is showing a need for updating, but the comfort and cleanliness is good enough to encourage me to visit again.

Would stay again. Quiet with friendly staff. Breakfast was meager, not much to pick from. Beds were comfy. Property was clean and well kept. I don't have 200 things to say it's early and I'm done typing. Nice parking area if you happen to be pulling a trailer.

This was mostly a 5-star place. Staff is super friendly, it is well-maintained, and it is clean (also my nostalgia was touched by the classic phone on the nightstand and the wallphone in the bathroom 😄). The walls are a tad thin, but the AC/heat unit had a fantastic fan for white noise that also helped drown out my mom's snoring in the other bed. I'm giving 4 stars because: 1) even though the room was impressively clean even in the corners and tile grout, there were several long dark head hairs (maybe fell off the housekeeper while cleaning?) in the bathroom and sink area and a small bag of dirty clothes in the closet that a previous guest forgot and apparently housekeeping didn't open up the doors to double check the space; and 2) because I was bummed that the only hot breakfast was waffles - I love those, but I also like the eggs with it. But I would totally stay here again!

traveling west and found this place. great location, walking distance to foods and shoppin g. average kinda place to sty, safe.friendly staff. walmart nearby . small town easy to get around. can stink downwin d from cows. but still good location

I checked the reviews for Dumas hotels and was glad that I selected this one. The big clean room with a king bed was on the second floor opposite the laundry room. Dryer was on but couldn't hear it from our room with the door shut. I'm a light sleeper and turned the fan on low to avoid hearing the traffic. It worked! The continental breakfast in the reception open room had different choices including waffles, Staff was friendly. Newspaper, and cookies (although not soft) were there. AAA offers a discount.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a first floor room for just one night. The room seemed clean enough. However, the bed had no support. Our backs were killing us the next morning. The heater made a weird noise just before the fan kicked on so woke us up all night. Water pressure wasn’t good. Overall, it was just basic, nothing special.

The staff was very friendly, the room was quiet and comfortable and the bed was great, good breakfast, easy parking. Only stayed one night and we will stay here again while traveling though the Pan Handle.

We had a room in the 1st floor at the back of the property. There was an odor in our room, but once AC was on it subsided. It wasn't until we got ready for bed we discovered the carpet in the bedroom was wet! And the tile in the bathroom was slick! We were too tired to change rooms, but slipped on shoes to go to the bathroom in the night. By morning the carpet was squishy, it was so wet! In the morning, we figured out there is a leak in the plumbing behind the wall in the bathroom. We reported the issue to the front desk, but they seemed unconcerned. If they don't get that issue fixed right away there will be TOXIC MOLD! There are NO quiet rooms - heavy truck traffic driving by all night long!

There was no bar of soap in the room. Our door did not lock from the inside. The halls were filthy and needed to be vacuumed. The room comes with a complimentary breakfast, however the breakfast area is tiny and sits in the lobby of the hotel. There were only a few tables, with others waiting for a table to clear. It wasn't possible to get to the food without bumping into the chairs of those sitting.
