Hawks Cay Resort

The freezer was constantly melting ice/freezing/re-melting, so the bottom of the freezer looked like an ice-skating rink and it looked like it was raining into the fridge compartment, ruining a lot of leftovers. There was also a slow leak from the toilet seal, leaving water pooling in front of the toilet. Tub drain completely rusted. None were a huge problem, but I expected way more upkeep for the price. Iguanas rampant but not their fault (regionally invasive).

We were in each of The Keys and this location was by far our favorite. There isn’t an “official beach” but with the lagoon in the back you don’t even miss it! It was so clean and well run. The service was 10/10 and everyone we met had the same things to say. Definitely going back!

Jacob did a great job with making drinks, he has a awsome personality! Have had a awsome experience in the lagoon and food is great as well

Love this place. The vibes are awesome drinks are great and Jacob the bartender was the best. It was our engagement vacation and I couldn’t have hoped for anything more!

If it was a review for just the employees of this resort I would have given a five star. Everyone was kind and anxious to help. When we arrived to occupy our Marina Villa they had put us in another villa , much further from the main resort and pools. We had a confirmation and we said we did not want the replacement villa so they put us and our friends in 2 separate hotel rooms for the night. We had to spend the whole next day moving into one hotel room and then eventually into the marina villa. We also had brought all of our breakfast and lunch food so had to shove it in the small fridges in our rooms. We also ended up spending $50 for 2 breakfast sandwiches and 1 OJ and we also had to purchase lunch. When we got to the 2 bedroom villa , only one bedroom had a dresser so my husband and I had to live out of our suitcases for 5 days. There was NO PLACE to put our clothes. Also the bed was against the wall , no way around so when my husband had to get up in the night I had to get out of bed or let him crawl over me. THIS UNIT COSTS ALMOST $1000 A NIGHT !. BE AWARE THAT YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING . There were cranes doing marina construction work close to our villa from 9 to 5 most days. The pool areas were very nice and again the personnel couldn't have been nicer. After many discussions with management over several days they did write off our 1st day of charges.

My visit here at Hawks Cay has been incredible not only incredible but the bar if you’re at the bar, you need to check out Jacob. he’s the coolest bartender with the best vibes.
