Apartments Nina&Anita - Self Check IN

Let's get the negatives out of the way first, none of which are in the control of the owners. So you are near a main road from the old town to Babin Kuk, so you will occasionally hear some road noise, normally motorbikes. The apartment is in a residential area, with all the trappings of life, so barking dogs and ferocious cat fights. But generally it's not so bad, but you need to be aware. Also it is a 15 minute walk to the old town (1.2KM), uphill on the way back. However the bus 6 and 10 drop off near the petrol station so the walk is short. Now the really good stuff. Wonderful hosts!! Provided us with home made lemonade, with a kick, wine, water and two bottles of beer. They live above the ground floor apartment where we were staying. All the facilities are there for self-catering. Bed was comfortable, bedroom is not the biggest, but fine for what it is required to do. I read with interest that it was not easy to find, well they must have done some work because we found it quickly. There is a well stocked supermarket about 5 minutes away and also some bars an equal distance. Now another point to not, get a Uber. We paid 14 euro for the airport shuttle bus, but the service was so poor. Once we were dropped off at the Ploce gate, we got a taxi, with fixed rate fee of 20euros to go 1.2KM!! The host's daughter organised an Uber to take us back to the airport, 25 euros. It is a lovely apartment with lovely friendly and helpful hosts. Even though it is a little outside the old town, I still definitely highly recommend.
