Hotel at the top of a hill. Quite near Gruz port but has about 300 steep steps to climb - so recommend a taxi -- 50 Kuna or Bus 15 Kuna. Clean and meets the basic requirements. Good views of the bay. Breakfast was not to our liking. Soap dispensers and the feel of holiday inn express standard. Lots of restaurants in the Gruz area much more affordable than Old town.

The pros are the hotel interior is nice, the rooms are well appointed, the staff are nice and friendly and the housekeeping is good. The hotel is situated on a high hill above a bay below and behind it is a busy main road. There are very steep steps down to the harbour where the cafes and restaurants are. Walking down is fine but walking back up is difficult especially during the warmest parts of the day. Some rooms will have a decent view of the bay but there are some awful looking apartment blocks obstructing the view and over looking the pool area. The food in the hotel is 4/10 but because of the isolated location the restaurant is busy Breakfast is €18 and dinner is €28 for buffet. Quality is not great but cheaper than general Dubrovnik prices. A bus or taxi is required for the old town. The location is probably the main drawback, not easy to shop for essentials or alternative food choices without a taxi home.

Kiva paikka, helppo mennä autolla. Hulppeet näkymät ja siisti/kiva huone. Bussilla helposti vanhaan kaupunkiin. Aamupala ok, mutta ei mikään super. Voin mennä toistekin.

We liked this hotel a lot. The room was large enough , with very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of different foods. The view from the restaurant’s balcony was amazing! We enjoyed the sunset over there. The pool wasn’t big but was very pleasant. To get to the old city we called Uber In general we enjoyed our stay at the hotel Adria
