This was a beautiful hotel will nice art work and historic charm. The staff was very kind and gave us good recommendations for our meals. The pool is very big and well surrounded by gardens and a nice hotel bar. It’s a bit further than we though from the old city , we had to take a taxi in/out for a fixed price of 20 euro (so 40 back and forth) but it was nice to come back to Lapad after long hot days visiting the old town and swimming in the sea.

Very nice hotel, good location, near the pier, take bus No. 6 at the entrance to the castle and it's only a few stops away, and it's only a few hundred meters to the nearby Lapad Commercial Center. The hotel reception is warm and polite, the room design is reasonable, clean and tidy, the facilities are complete and convenient, and the hotel also has its own paid parking lot, 10 euros per day.

2nd stay in the wonderful Hotel Lapad and it was once again amazing. The location, the views from our balcony, the staff, the breakfasts, lunches, drinks and the buffet dinner were all sooo good. We love this hotel, loved every minute of it. Once again we didn't want to leave, managed to see two beautiful sunsets whilst we were here but weren't lucky enough for the other two nights due to the thunderstorms but we still had the best time. We have walked miles, visited the beautiful Old Town many times enjoying the walk every time, we saw the sunset from the top of the mountain via the cable car and had many a walk to Sunset beach which is beautiful. We had the best time and didn't want to leave thank you to all the staff at Hotel Lapad you are wonderful. We will be back xxxx

Im not satisifed with my stay, i asked for a partial refund from the hotel since the aircondition in my room was hotter then 24 degrees celsius! The hotel has refunded me 5% of my total stay, we did not manage to sleep in the hotel during our stay. We had to stay over with some friends for 3 nights. I talked with the operations manager, he seemed serious when we had the talk for the refund, but when i got back home, of course they provide me with 5% refund, it doesnt even cover the first night! Unbelievable. I asked to pay for upgrade, they said it was not possible, its always possible to fix something as i work in the industry myself. The pool was okay, there is a lot of kids there, so i dont recommend if you want to go for a easy vacation. We stayed here for 7 nights. Kroatia has become very expensive, i dont recommend staying there, go to Bosnia or Albania, it is half the price.

Very good hotel in an excellent location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. A little dated in some areas but very clean. Nice pool and terraced garden area. We had a for stay here.
