B and B Apartments and Studios Lanii

Great location in the middle of old town. We stayed in a very spacious apartment, that seemed as if it was still work in progress. It is situated above the restaurant Lanii which makes it hard to find. We tried contacting the owners both on mail and telephone to confirm the stay and get information for check-in, but never heard back. We ended up just showing up and everything turned out fine. Downsides were the constant smell of food and buzzing from the streets. We would also have prefered a key card/key instead of pin for the door

The rooms are very well located, besides the Lanii restaurant which it’s pwn by the same people. Rooms are small and we have some troubles with the hot water in the shower ( it gets cold too soon ). Also , our room had a bad smell. The manager tried to fix all the problems and was very kind, but we were a little dissapointed

Unfortunately our experience of this business started negatively as we hadn’t been warned about the need to pay upfront with cash. On getting to the accommodation staff were indifferent and unhelpful. The room itself was clean, the bed reasonably comfortable but the kitchen area lacked basics like washing up liquid, eating knives and a chopping board. The induction hob lacked instructions - we googled how to use - same for the tv. We managed to do this while the WiFi held but for our last 48hrs wifi was entirely down. I appreciate the location is good, very central and not too far up the rows of steps but very sadly, and in direct opposition from all our other experiences in Croatia, this business is out to make as much money as it can from as little effort as possible. Hugely disappointing.
