Savannah Cabins at Taronga Zoo

I stayed with family along with kids for two nights. The cabin had two rooms and well appointed kitchenette and all facilities for the family. The close proximity to zoo makes it really different. The information prior to arrival, pre check in, check in process even without going to the reception were all seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Savannah cabins. Highly recommends.

The Savannah Cabins were clean, well equipped and so close to the animals. The kids had a great time in the playground. We had views of quite a few animals late in the afternoon and early morning. We were only there for one night and it was plenty for us with access to the park both days of your stay. I’m so glad we stayed at the zoo and not in town.

Clean, roomy cabins. Has all the amenities needed for a weekend stay. The cabins are spaced far enough apart for privacy. They face the fence to the Savannah area of the zoo so you can see some animals from your verandah or it's an easy walk to the fence for a closer view. Great for families as it has a playground for kids! Beds are a bit soft however that is a personal thing.

The accommodation was fantastic the pillows were so comfy (we left ours at home). The views just sitting on the verandah was breath taking. Very clean, excellent service and friendly. Everything is explained as soon as you arrive. Will definitely be going back again.

Our stay at the Savannah Cabins in Dubbo was absolutely fantastic! The cabins are perfect for families, offering spacious, comfortable, and modern accommodation with stunning views of the surrounding bushland. We loved the peaceful setting, and one of the highlights was watching the beautiful sunset from the deck in the evening. I highly recommend bringing your BBQ meat to take advantage of the outdoor facilities—it made for a relaxed and memorable dinner. Being so close to Taronga Western Plains Zoo was a huge bonus, allowing us to explore the zoo at our own pace. Savannah Cabins is the ideal getaway for families looking for comfort, nature, and adventure.
