Hilton Dubai the Walk

There was a renovation. One elevator was working. There was no central entrance.

The hotel is pretty run down, location is great. Rooms stink of mold

This is my third time staying at this hotel. The first two times my visits were for 7-10 days and everything was great. This time my visit was for 4 days. But something went wrong... at this time (early September), the hotel is undergoing renovation of part of the building. Because of this, the front entrance is closed and I had to walk with my suitcase and look for where to go in(( They gave me a room on the 2nd floor((( right in front of people, so it was inconvenient to go out onto the balcony or open the curtains. But I had to look for the positives: I could go up/down the stairs, because I had to wait a long time for the elevators. And it was also quick to get to the gym. Breakfasts (buffet) are still delicious and varied. Also from the negatives: due to renovations, some of the elevators are not working, which puts a strain on the remaining ones, and I have to wait a very long time. Everything would be fine, I could go up/down from the second floor on foot. But when I checked out with my suitcase, I couldn't go down on foot. I spent half an hour going down((( and for some reason the hotel staff does not provide such a service as picking up a suitcase from the room.

There were apartments with 3 bedrooms. There are no questions about the location or food. The rooms need repair - mold in the corners and leaking plumbing. We called a repairman three times to repair the washing machine - they did not fix it, the oven was repaired three times, the result was changed. If we had stayed another week - we would have done the repairs with the hotel engineers
