Lakeside Villas have thought of everything to make your stay an absolutely amazing and comfortable experience. The Villas are very comfortable, private, quiet and the breakfast selection was terrific. It was wonderful to spend a few days, whilst we explored all of the great produce, art and culture of the Dromana/Red Hill area. The restaurant is within easy walking distance from the villas. The Wine Centre is a great experience as well. We cannot fault our stay in any way, it was perfect and we highly recommend to stay here.

Beautifully appointed chalet overlooking the lake. It really was a beautiful place in a good central location on the Peninsula. The chalet was well design and comfortable, with good attention to detail and it did feel completely private, despite the other two chalets being occupied. Would definitely recommend staying here and I would be happy to stay here again. I would definitely recommend pre-arranging travel though, if you're planning on heading out for a few drinks...

Our stay at Lakeside Villas was a dream getaway. Absolutely soul soothing to wake up to the view of the beautiful lake. The villa was prepped with all the amenities you would need, including bacon, a basketful of eggs and a bottle of cuvee (min 2 night stay). The jacuzzi was a nice treat, and it was thoughtful that they provided warm and fluffy bath robes as well. We found it hard to leave, and we'll definitely love to come back!

The villa was lovely and views over lake are wonderful, the 3 stars are due to the inpolite communication from the owner when there was an issue with bathroom/toilet, we were mindful to notify of the issue as soon as possible given it was a sunday and the challenges about sourcing trades ie plumber at that time, and there was prompt follow up on that however, we weren't offered access to an empty neighbouring villa while waiting for plumber and the owners communication and tone quickly soured, having previouely worked in exec level roles I know too well what 'as per my previous text as 345pm' means, ie are you stupid or similar and no we are not, we are paying guests and I can see this is not the first time guests have provided feedback to owner about her approach to communication when there is an issue. I usually commend smaller boutique for their disability access efforts in acommondation and contribute favourable reviews on an accessible tourism website and referral networks however on this occasion, it will be better on those forums to not say anything at all unless asked and if asked I will be honest and say that not being offerer any apology when it's your wedding anniversary retreat and you may need to use a toilet (and not within the half hour window that she provided as access the cellar door) and not being offered another alternative for next hour and a half really sours the experinece of whole stay, I had to go to the shopping plaza and use the public toilet. I have never written so much about a toilet but here we are, due to the quick change from a prompt response to rudeness in communication about the issur and no apology. If you do have mobility issues and do want to still stay here then there are some good accessibility features but it is more of an easy access/ ambulatory, semi-ambulatory villa, access limited by entry and internal doors, non accessible sink and glass shower screen impacting on transfers. The good features are walk in shower, shower chair provided and good circulation space in living and bedrooms. Perhaps the owner should move on from don't apologise, don't explain approach and then we would have been happy repeat guests as well as referrers.

One of the most amazing experiences we have had. The Villas were of impeccable standard. Well planned out space. Beautiful surroundings, ideal for a romantic getaway! We have added the Villas and Crittenden estate as a top pick for our wedding ( seriously, this will be hard venue to bet)

Exquisite! So many things about the villa makes this the best self contained accomodation we have stayed in. The tranquil view, heated bathroom flooring, breakfast provisions, cleanliness….I could go on! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing time away.

We arrived after travelling from Queensland very excited for our holiday to discover the owner had emailed us an incorrect passcode so we were unable to gain entry to our room. Owner not on site & would not answer multiple phone calls & text messages - we went to our dinner booking early & in our travel clothes - this is not professional & it was extremely stressful for us as we started to look for alternative accommodation- when my husband messaged Linda & told her this amazingly she phoned! This accommodation has a lovely outlook over the lake but it is not very quiet/ road noise from across the lake / loud music Saturday night until 11pm from wedding next door / then woke to earth works next morning after we had had a late night - not very relaxing! Ps bath towels small & thin - only get 2 towels for 3 nights - paid $700 per night - owner needs to be more hands on & check out the cleaning & housekeeping - cobwebs , toaster full of bread crumbs …….. Overpriced & under managed! Won’t be returning
