Super cute boutique hotel in the Cotswolds that recently reopened/was remodeled. We wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately they were booked for the weekend. Would definitely return here to stay again. One thing that was unexpected was the size of the “king” bed which was smaller than a US king, it was more like a queen size.

We only went to the restaurant but had great recommendations from Paula. She put us on to “bin end” for a lovely Bordeaux. Her service was great, and our daughters and I had one of the best dinners/meals in the Cotswolds….chicken pot pies and beef hamburger with homemade ketchup and great starters: French onion soup & tortellini 😍

Very pretty premises on the river and would imagine sitting outside in the summer would be wonderful. There are still fires lit outside at this time of the year and there are covers over the seated area. The hotel is very friendly and there are dogs in the dining room and bar. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food was excellent in the evening and breakfast - there were vegetarian options but I didn't see any soya in the mornings. For how much effort is made, it wouldn't cost much more to have real plants (next to the bed) and in the bar and if would be a big improvement if the wifi was better (it is very poor) that said we would still go back as so much was right

I can't fault the hotel itself is gorgeous, perfect location and food for both breakfast and evening was incredible. The aesthetic is everything you would want in a Cotswolds escape with scenic walks surrounding the area and incredibly lovely staff. The food was some of the best food I have had for a while! The however - we were pre warned a couple of weeks before our arrival about an event taking place. I rang to ask how the noise would be, and would the bar or hotel spaces be affected to which we were told we wouldn't hear anything and no they would not, which was not the case. Until 11pm it felt like a nightclub, we had come for a quiet escape but instead had wedding music and singing and shouting, also using all of the bar area. Felt quite disappointed about this, mainly because we just wanted a quiet weekend in what would have seemed like a cosy and quiet place but instead it was chaotic and loud. We would have happily rebooked and enjoyed another weekend which wouldn't have felt as overstimulating. We did ask at the time to which we were just apologised to and it would go off at 11pm. There is always this risk when booking a hotel which has a venue, but equally if we were told when we rang this was going to be the case we would have simply rebooked.

We loved our stay ❤️ we were treated so well and totally spoilt for our anniversary ❤️ big thanks to Danielle for being the perfect host and is a credit to the hotel ❤️ our dinner was scrumptious with the best onion soup we’ve had ❤️ service was fabulous and Alex made our dinner perfect with glasses of Prosecco and an anniversary plate ❤️ the room we stayed was 22 and we could not have asked for more. The venue is stunning, with a brook running at the side. The smells were divine with candles everywhere ❤️ we didn’t want to leave!

Treated ourselves, very expensive suite with hot tub and on the face of it amazing. Sadly attention to details are missing. Loo leaks. Bath robes are a brilliant touch but were frayed and would fit if you were a size 10. Sadly neither of us are.

I booked this as a surprise for my husband for our wedding anniversary. We spent a couple of days relaxing in the Cotswolds & he had no idea about anything to do with the trip. I booked a full body massage at a hotel close by and then stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel in a Riverside suite overlooking the little stream. The room was stunning,Bath next to the bed & a gorgeous bathroom. We checked in & was shown to our room. We were informed about a little pantry where the chilled milk & other things were kept. The hotel is stunning & beautifully done. We ate dinner in the restaurant in the evening,do think portion sizes could be a little bigger for what you pay, but it's standard like other places I've eaten. I'm gluten & dairy free. There weren't many options, but I asked the waiter if I could have steak, which he kindly sorted out for me. Breakfast was lovely, poached eggs cooked perfectly! I would recommend this hotel to family & friends. Just wish it was located in Bourton on the water as there isn't much to do around the outside of this hotel.

Stayed here midweek for our anniversary during the summer holidays and can’t recommend it enough. The entire place both pub and rooms have been so well done and have such a nice feel throughout. We were upgraded to the No3 London Road room and it was the nicest room we have ever stayed in. The room itself was perfect but having the outdoor space next to the brook with our own private hot tub and sauna was something else! We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both meals were delicious, with a small continental buffet breakfast as well as being able to order a hot meal too! Would 100% recommend and will be back again in the future.

Booked a pod for my birthday night out with the girls and paid £50 room hire fee, not a problem at all and paid however the service was not worth the £50.00. Although the pod was the perfect size for our party, the beautiful glass table was dirty and unpolished. We ordered our meals and only 3 out of 4 meals turned up, a served (who we later found out was the manager) did the check back at which point we asked for water, mayo, salt & pepper which we never received, even after pointing it out and complaining. On a positive note, our server Harvey - was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us, a credit to him for keeping his composiure for a situation that was not his fault at all.
